Here are a few trips you may want to try as well
- Both the air outside and the heating systems are dry. This is why it is up to us to find some sort of air indoors that will help our skin. Introducing the home humidifier to help not only with skin issues but also sinuses. Adding moisture back into the home can help our skin feel a bit moist.
- It is natural to think about protecting our skin in the summer months but we often forget that sunscreen is needed in the winter as well. If spending time in the snow and ice you should use the same SPF you use in the summer months as the reflection of sun rays is powerful.
- As our skin dries it is losing moisture faster than it does in the summer. Exfoliating cleanser is needed to get rid of dead cells and make room for new skin sells. Daily exfoliation is not always needed
- Lip balm is needed so as that your lips do not become painfully cracked. Remember lipbalm with SPF factor as well.
- What you put into your body will make a difference as well. Brisk air and home heating pull moisture from your skin. Drinking at least eight 8 oz. glasses will help keep skin hydrated.
