Adopt a Senior Pet

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month. If you have considered adopting a pet then I urge you to consider adding an older family member. Shelters house all types of dogs and cats both younger and older pets. But while small kittens and puppies are adorable and are often considered first older pets offer love and loyalty as well. In addition to this there are also a few more advantages to adopting a senior pet.

  • Senior pets often do not require constant monitoring and training like the attention a puppy or kitten would
  • Many dogs and cats that are older are all ready house trained
  • The staff at the shelter will be able to tell more concerning the pets personality and grooming requirements.

with all these given reasons, would you please consider a senior pet when looking for the perfect pet for your family
