Fridays's Fave Five:
1. My daughter turned 17 this week oh what a big day that is. Soon she will be making more and more decisions for her self and growing up will see many changes. My other 2 girls are older than her so I have been here before. The thing is I do not know if that is a good thing or a bad one.
2. Company came over and all had a great time. At first we were not going to invite anyone because we did not know if anyone would be coming over. But we did and everyone that we invited showed up. What a suprise and a good one.
3. Sunday was awesome we had a great lesson in bible study on the subject on Palms Sunday and oh the greatness of the message was. I can not wait to hear this Sunday's message. But we had a great time then we came home and had a great meal
4. The charity auction went over well and I really did great. I even won a certificate that I paid $15 for and will save $90 in the long run. It was a certificate for $90 off of the storage units and I loved it saved money and did great
5. i have loved reading the many blogs on the subject of Easter and the days prior to it. What wonderful post there have been this week.

A Beautiful Life

We recently had a get together for my daughters birthday party to celebrate her turning seventeen. Even though it was her birthday party there was one little girl who stole the show.

This little gal had so much fun and wanted a cupcake so badly that she nabbed her own. Before I knew it she was giving the table a bath with the icing. It must of felt good to her fingers.

Here she is with her mommy who took her to clean up. Oh my she loved the cupcake so good you knew she had to get it all over her.

This is her with her uncle, brothers and mommy all watching T.V

No don't get me wrong she did eat the cupcake she just loved to play in it more

This is my husband standing guard

Thankful Thursday

This Thursday I have many many things to be thankful for but none greater than the fact that our saviour came and died on the cross for us. Thousands of years ago in a little town they were getting ready to crucify my Lord Jesus. Oh what a night it must of been. The final supper with his disciples, The Last Supper where they would all sit together and my Lord would wash their feet. It was this night all those years ago that Jesus knew he had been betrayed he knew that the plan had always been there and he knew that the cross laid before him. Oh my what a night it was. That is why I am thankful. I am thankful that he followed through with that grand plan that knowing what was to happen he prepared and was ready. I am thankful that he bore that cross for me and died on that cross so that I may be saved. I am also so glad that he arose from that grave and all were astonished. That is what I am thankful for. If you want to know what others are thankful for then visit the Woman Taking A Stand blog here.

Marla's Mandel Bread

Marla's Mandel Bread
Let me introduce you to a lovely product called Marla's Mandel Bread. I was very impressed by this product. The manner in which the little breads are packaged and the taste of this scrumptious bread works together impressively. Can you imagine serving them or giving them as a little gift to someone that you love.
Founded by a lovely mother and daughter team in 2008. This duo has created a lovely snack in a variety of flavors which are packaged nicely and sent to the recipient. Mandel bread, (I had never heard of before) is often referred to as Jewish Biscotti. The mother and daughter team wants to change the fact that is primarily considered a Jewish food and introduce it with a twist to all snack and bread lovers alike.
If you enjoy toast or tea cookies with your hot tea or coffee then you are sure to love Marla's Mandel bread. The bread offers the taste of Cinnamon sugar and goes great with your tea or coffee over your morning paper or while blogging on the Internet.
Marla's Mandel bread can be purchased in 10 piece boxes, a 20 piece box with a mixed variety of flavors or in 10 mini packages. In addition Marla's Mandel Bread can be customized for your fundraiser or company giveaway. You can find a great shop that sells the product here or you can order online here

Hip-T Review

Today's modern styles often leave us with effects that we do not desire. The hip-T will help you keep your modesty while wearing the stylish looks. You can keep your valuable assets covered where not all will be able to view the valuables. Modesty is the right of every woman and the hip-T will allow us to fight for this right.

The hip-T is exactly what it sounds like it is a tee shirt material that will help you to keep your hips covered. It will not allow the view of anything that you wish not to show. It lays softly and gently on your skin under your favorite tee and keeps the gap between the tee and and jeans from elapsing. You can wear the hip-T with jeans, shorts or a skirt. One of the main reasons that I love the hip-T is because my daughter no longer needs to worry about what is showing behind her. After a hard delivery my daughter was left with scars which is quite a challenge and leaves her wearing her jeans a bit lower so as not to lay over the c section scar in the middle of her belly. The problem was those behind her would get an unintentional flash. With the hip-T this problem has been resolved and the modesty is restored.

If you want to feel this freedom as well then you can find a store that sells the hip-T here or order a great hip-T in your choice of 19 different styles from the hip-T website here

BABY IN A BAG
one thing that has always worried me is whether or not the little ones would stay covered up while sleeping. I would always wrap them up extra warm placing warm PJ's on them and then covering them up with lots of blankets because I knew during the night the covers would more than likely be shed. Perhaps that is the reason that I love the Baby In A Bag product. The Baby In A Bag is a sleeping bag created for the baby of the bunch.

Perhaps you are wondering why you should buy a sleep sack when you have blankets available? Well let me share a few reasons with you. First it will keep your baby covered and warm all night allowing you to rest easy knowing that they are covered up well ensuring a good night sleep for both the baby and the parents. Second, because of the scare of SIDS involving loose covers this fear will be cut down as well. The sleep sacks are also very soft being made of 100% cotton.

There are four great styles of Baby In a Bag Sleep Sacks available each with their own desires:

The great summer model sleep sack which is lightweight and allows your baby a snuggle without the sweat. It is specially designed for warmer seasonal weather or you may want to use it year round in the warmer nurseries or for babies who are naturally "warm". My granddaughter has the tendency to be over warmed easily and sweats quite a bit. This type of Baby In A Bag sleep sack would have been perfect for her. The great features of this baby in a bag sleep sack are the double lining with adjustable armholes for better fit and the 100% cotton shell with a soft jersey lining.

The Baby In a Bag winter style is an European style sleeping bag with plush filling. This style is great is created to add extra warmth for the colder winter months, for draftier nurseries or for those little ones who run a bit colder.

The pampered minky style sleep sack which is the one that we received and oh how we love it. Our little one has no objection to the softness that this great Baby sleeping bag offers. This is the style that celebrities and media refer to the most. The added feature of softness, warmth, and great pampered feeling gives the minky style a look that is desirable.

The Baby In a Bag Pampered Sack Royal Silk allows this Baby Sleeping Bag to drape your baby in luxurious silk This great style will open and lay flat allowing for ease in diaper changing. Great for the littlest ones among us.

Love Bottle Giveaway

I would love to share a short story with all of you. My dad who was a wheeler and dealer and loved it that way earned the nickname "The Bottle Man". The reason for this is that through all of his trading and deals his love was for the old bottles. He could talk hours on hours about the great bottles that were available and made lots of money selling these old bottles that he would find in old pits, junkyards and along side the road. The Love Bottles although new and fresh resemble the old bottles of yesterday. Thus the freshness of these new bottles offer the old days vintage feeling.
The little Love Bottles are the reusable glass water bottles that you can write on. Have you ever drank cool water out of a glass cup? You know that the glass helps the water taste fresher and cooler than it normally would. In addition the chemicals and aluminum taste in many containers is not present in glass making it the perfect container. The great look of these Love Bottles with the ability to write an identity on the bottle makes the Love Bottle the perfect traveling bottles. Because the Love Bottle is reusable the amount of trash is cut down making it not only perfect for humans but also perfect for the earth.
The Love Bottle is made up partially of recycled glass. Once again showing a bit of love for the earth. Each bottle has the word love on it and is supercharged with the words. The Love Bottle Company was built primarily on love and the need to express it. The mission of the Love Bottle company was to spread love to others by helping to improve their health through a canvas for self expression that also helps the environment while getting refreshing water to those who need it. Statistics show that every person in the U.S. drinks at least one plastic water bottle a day. By using the Love Bottles instead of the plastic bottles 365 water bottles would be saved. What would that mean? First of all because you may use tap water to fill the Love Bottle you will save money in your pocket. Could you imagine saving $365 a year simply by replacing your plastic water bottles with the glass Love Bottle. As we passed the word of the Love Bottles to the ones we love we may find our selves cleaning the earth up one Love Bottle at a time.
For me the reason I love the Love Bottle is for sentimental reasons, personal reasons and financial reasons. I am sure that you would have your own reasons for trying the very cute preppy Love Bottles. If you want to show your love for someone then there is no better way than to show them you care through offering them a Love Bottle. The message sent would be one of (1) care for them, (2) care for earth and (3) care for financial well being. No better way to show love than through a Love Bottle.
Guess What!!!!!! One of Annies Home readers will be able to win a small Love Bottle and a bottle brush of their own. WOW!!!!! Here is how
You Must: visit the love bottle web site and let me know what small bottle you would want if you happened to win.

Stony Brook Cookie Company Giveaway

We were recently lucky enough to taste some of the best tasting good for you cookies. The Stony Brook Cookie Company is a company that places love into each batch of cookies they bake. The Stony Brook Cookie Company still bake their cookies in small batches and in order to give you the best taste ship the same day. Oh how wonderful there is still a bakery that cares about what they serve and uses the top ingredients to create their wonderful cookies. The Stony Brook Cookie Company does not use preservatives, trans fats, commercial oils, artificial flavors or colors. The Stony Brook Cookies are perfect to serve your little ones or yourself for both what they have as well as what they do not have. In addition to the great ingredients, no preservatives the cookies also contain less sugar than most other cookies made by leading companies. In search of the best ingredients led them right down the road to many local ingredients that produced organic ingredients. Besides all the care of making the cookies the cookies were also tested for eating and milk dunking and came out with greatness.

There are four great varieties of Stony brook cookies: these are double chocolate pecan, Stoney Brook jumble, super chocolate chunk and oatmeal cranberry and white chocolate. All of the great varieties have also been taste tested by me and I can tell you they are some of the best I have ever had. MMMM GOOODDD!!!!!!!!!!! The care that is given by the bakery that started in 2002 called Stoney Brook is top notched. The bakers truly care about the cookies that come out of their kitchens. Using only the top ingredients and paying the most attention to preparation the cookies are excellent in appearance and taste. These cookies may be ordered in smaller personal bundles or in large batches for the corporation or business.

The great duo of Greg Woodworth and Kelly Coughlin erected out of culinary school envisioning the goodness of baking. From the earliest of times reaching to get organic great tasting ingredients. Now the recipes have are set in stone yet changes to the company happen daily as they test and retest ideas of how to better the product. Little Miss Matched Giveaway

A while back I was lucky enough to win a pair of little miss matched great socks in a blog giveaway. YEAH!!!!!! I had never heard about the Little Miss Match brand and was very surprise when the socks came in there were only 3 socks. I double checked that one and then read the label. I thought what a great idea this was with 6 children we have miss matched socks all the time. This was great and what was even better was the buzz at the word at the nursery when my granddaughter showed up wearing the little miss matched socks. Wow, styling and profiling.

Miss Matched Inc. was created by a set of great friends. It just so happened that these three friends were a marketing and innovations expert, a literary agent and published writer and an apparel insider. Now what else could you ask for? If you are going to create your own sock line? Each of the friends had their own talent and each of them were tired of looking for that lost sock and wanted to be able to use all of their miss matched socks. So they created a company that invited others to do just that. After creating the great company the love of this idea was so grand that the company grew.

The Little Miss Matched Company now sells items for women, men, children as well as furniture and bedding. Right now there is a large sale going on for Little Miss Matched outlet products. So you should hurry over and check out the Little Miss Matched website for your self.
Great news: Little Miss Match would love to offer Annie's Home Readers a chance to win a weeks worth of socks (3 sets). There will be one winner. Yeah!!!!!!!
TO WIN: You must first go to the Little Miss Matched website and tell me something that you would love to have for your self there are so many great products there it will be hard to choose.

Gratituesday

We recently received a great chance to visit with my granddaughter how lovely it was. My daughter had an illness and the medication that was given to her did not help. She had a terrible side effect and called us up one morning at 2:30 a.m. Oh my what a terrible shocker. She was crying and in a terrible fret. She was yelling at her daddy to come and get her. Even though we know that her and her husband have a loving relationship the first thought to my husband was that something had happened and her and Matt were fighting. As I woke up I realized Matt was on midnight shift and that could not have been the problem. As the conversation went on I realized that something was really wrong my daughter could not remember that she had a daughter or a husband. She could not understand where I was. In the end I needed to call the police and they knew her and knew that something was really wrong. In the end the problem was that she had a side effect to the theraflu medication. What a scary night but the entire time she had stayed in the bed and had somehow been able to call my new number. Oh my you know that Angels were there and surrounding her taking care of her and at the same time protecting our little one. I Praise God for this. No one could help her since I was 3 hours away from her and could not help her. When the police arrived they were not even aware a baby was in the house and her husband was at work. It was all in God's hands. She is O.K. now since finding out what happened and knowing what that medicine does to her. But this verse came to mind and I wanted to share it.

But He said, "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." (Luke 18:27)

OZone Socks review

OZONE SOCKS
Do you love to wear great looking socks? Well what about great looking and stylish? Well let me tell you about some great socks that are stylish, great looking and sure to fit your personality. The Ozone Socks have many styles available and let me tell you that these great socks feel as great on your feet as they look.

When I was a kid I had a pair of striped socks that I referred to as my Zebra socks. Ozone Socks are created with fun in mind. Stripes just seem to make me smile and keep me happy.

What about these great looking fun loving Ozone Socks? I love the fact that they look as if the shoe is all ready on. LOL. Too cute
OZone Socks are available for the men as well. These boot knife socks (printed) would be great fun for the guys as well.

Lauri Mallet created Ozone Socks because she felt that socks were being left out of the fashion world. Lauri grew up in Paris France and of course gained several bits of fashion history.

From the Ozone Socks Website:

Laurie founded ozone design in 2000. She strongly believed that socks were one of the only items untouched by fashion.“Ozone Design is devoted entirely to putting fashion and fun into socks and tights. Amazingly, they were still looked upon as undergarments.” Laurie’s goal was to bring spirit and passion to one of the most intimate and neglected parts of our wardrobe. “For too long the sock has been ignored by the world of fashion and we’re going to change that.”During the past seven years Ozone has set the benchmarks for what’s cool and hip in footwear. “There have been more innovative and new design concepts that have come out of Ozone than any other sock company in history.” The list is impressive: shoe socks, safe sox, hemp socks, radionic socks, tattoo socks, motorcycle socks, the replacement sock, etc. Laurie still has her heart embedded in the art world. Ozone makes socks for many of the world’s famous museums. Laurie worked closely with Christo during The Gates project and developed the highly successful “Gates sock” sold during the event. Ozone socks are sold around the world and through a network of two thousand stores in America.A recent men’s vogue article sums it up:“When Mallet talks about her dreams for socks, people often ask her what all the fuss is about. Most of the time no one can see your socks anyway. 'Fashion is something you do for yourself,' says Mallet. 'Of course, when other people get a glimpse, that is exciting. But I prefer the idea that socks are your secret weapon.'

So the next time you are looking for great socks that are fashionable, cute and fun think of Ozone Socks

BUY:You can buy Ozone Socks from their website here.

At The Well Posting with the subject being the older woman at this link http://www.titus2atthewell.com/2009/04/older-women.html

Favorite photo from last week: This was my picture for wordless Wednesday and I love it we were attending a youth convention and at the other end was a scary character festival

Lesson learned the past few days:
I learned that no matter how old your child gets they will always need you. When my daughter came down sick she did not remember her husband or baby but her parents. It was due to a severe reaction to a medication that had been prescribed to her. I found out about the side effect while looking at the medication on line. She called the doctor and was told to stop taking it
On my Prayer List:
those traveling
several friends with cancer
my daughter
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
