Chocolate Chip Croissant Bread Pudding

6 croissants, coarsely chopped
1 cup chocolate chips
1 1/4 cups whole milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 large eggs
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Mix croissant chunks and chocolate chips in an 8-inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and eggs. Pour the mixture over the croissants and let sit, covered with plastic wrap, for at least 10 minutes or up to an hour in the fridge. Bake for 40 minutes.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream. ENJOY!!!!
