Banana Orange Sorbet

Banana Orange Sorbet

2/3 c sugar
2/3 c corn syrup
1 c water
2 c orange juice
4 large ripe bananas, sliced

In small saucepan mix sugar, syrup and water Stir over low heat til sugar dissolves Stir in OJ: set aside Puree bananas in blender Stir into OJ mix. Pour into ice cream canister Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions or pour prepared mix into 9 inch square pan or several undivided ice trays Cover with foil or plastic wrap Place in freezer and freeze til firm, 3 to 6 hours Stir 2 or 3 times with fork or spoon while freezing Scrape frozen mix witha fork til pieces resemble crushed ice. Serve
