Daisies are beautiful flowers and are commonly used naturally for making daisy chains but they have so many more uses than that. Daisy greens and petals can be eaten raw or cooked. The flavor may be a bit bitter to some pallets. Daisies have been used in medications when brewed into tea. The tea is used for gastrointestinal as well as respiratory tract disorder treatments. Daisies have also been used in anti inflammatory properties.

Dandelions commonly grow in lawns. The dandelion is full of vitamins A, B, C, and D and minerals like iron, potassium and zinc. So for nutrition you need not look any further than your back yard.
