Aloha Friday

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

This week we have been concentrating on going back to school. I have been recalling wonderful experiences I had at school as well. Like my first boyfriend, or hanging out on cold days at the kitchen vent where the steam would come out, the little secrets that we shared with each other. I have found many of my school friends on facebook. My question today is:

I would like to know if you use facebook and if you have found friends and family online?

  1. I don't use FB as often as I use to. But, it is a good way to keep in touch with people far away.
    Happy Friday!

  6. I do have a FB page and I rarely use it. If I do it is solely to keep up with my parents, in-laws, brother and BIL and SIL.

  7. I use facebook for friends and family. I don't spend that much time on it though. I use it less and less because of all the time I seem to waste on it.

  11. I use Facebook, and I've found a lot of friends from back home. I know many of the friendships are very insignificant - these aren't people I'd have over for dinner or anything - but it's interesting to see what's going on in their lives, and how we've all gone in such different directions. My mom joined Facebook last year, which was a little weird at first, but she used it to share pictures of my parents' 35th anniversary trip to Ireland. I think she was trying to make us all jealous!

  12. I used to & yes, I was able to connect w/ quite a few people but then I realized that I was giving away a little too much info about myself, my family & where we live. After having lived for 12 yrs as an AF spouse & being cautious about security issues, well, I ended up dumping it.
