4 whole tomatoes, (cored, halved and quartered)
-½ lb. green beans
-1 t. oil
-¼ t chili powder
-1 t. celery salt
-4 pieces, pickled okra (quarter inch slices)
-½ lb. bacon, (minced)
-1 t. Worcestershire sauce
-¼ t. Tabasco
-1 t. lemon juice
-1 carrot, (sliced on a bias)
-2 c. Rigatoni
In a medium sauce pot, boil 3 cups of salted water
Add two cups pasta. Cook half way, strain and cool with cold running water.
In a skillet, toast chili powder
Add bacon and render down. Remove once crisp. Set aside
Remove half the bacon fat and discard. With remaining fat, saute green beans until lightly charred. Set aside.
In bowl, combine all ingredients. Toss to combine.
Transfer to a casserole or baking dish. Add ½ cup of water.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Then, for an additional 5 minutes uncovered.
Serve.
