To make this scrumptious brown sugar bacon caramel sundae the first thing you will need to do will be to make the bacon. To do so bake the bacon in the oven on a baking sheet lined with foil at 400 degrees. As they bake and shrink they will also get crispy. Before they get to the crispy state though you will want to sprinkle them with a spoonful of brown sugar. Return to oven 5 more minutes til crispy, fully cooked and sugar is caramelized.
Crumble the bacon up to sprinkle over the ice cream. For each small sundae a slice of bacon will do but for a larger sundae count on 2 to do the job.
Dish up a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream. Add a little dollop of whipped cream and drizzle of caramel syrup. Break a slice of brown sugar bacon in half and put the two halves in the sundae to be crumbled over top.
