Sunday Stealing

1. What is more difficult for you, looking into someone’s eyes when you are telling someone how you feel, or looking into someone’s eyes when they are telling you how they feel.

looking into someones eyes when they are expressing their feelings. I can tell anyone my feelings whether good or bad but I struggle with taking compliments and looking up in their face is just too much

2.  Think of the last time you were REALLY angry.  WHY were you angry?  Do you still feel the same way?

I get angry easily, never stay that way but it happens. The last time was most likely when my husband seemed insensitive doing what he wanting and forgetting about where I wanted to go.

3.  You are on a flight from Honolulu to Chicago non-stop. There is a fire in the back of the plane.  You have enough time to make one phone call. Who do you call?  What do you tell them?

I call my husband who I know will answer the phone. As we travel like a family most of my family including husband will be with me so I would call my little brother. I would tell him what was going on and that I love him, where I keep our important papers and to turn on the T.V. as news should tell him what is going on

4.  You are at the doctor’s office and she has just informed you that you have approximately one month to live.  Do you tell anyone/everyone you are going to die? What do you do with your remaining days? Would you be afraid?

I most likely would keep it to myself as much as possible. I had a grandmother that knew she was passing soon but did not want the others to know. The funny thing is they knew as the doctor told them and they decided to keep it from her. I would live my days free first thing I would do would be to quit my job, love my grand babies and do things on my bucket list.

5.  You can have one of the following two things.  Which do you choose?  Why?  Love and Trust.

My motto is I don't like lies or thieves. So in that matter you can't have love if you don't have trust. You can build love if there is trust. So I would choose trust.

6.  You are walking down the street on your way to work.  There is a dog drowning in the canal on the side of the street.  Your boss has told you that if you are late just one more time you are fired. Do you take the time to save the dog’s life?  Why? Why not?

As I do not like dogs, I take the time to find someone to help the dog. I can find another , maybe even a better job, and if my boss does not understand then he is not a boss I want to work for.

7.  Would you rather be hurt by the one you trust the most or the one you love the most?

This is closely related to question #5. I am not sure though which one would be worst as I think they travel together. So I think it would be the one I trust the most.

8.  Your best friend confesses that he/she has feelings for you more than just friendship.  He/she is falling in love with you.  What do you (or did you) say?

I have been married for 30+ years so I would be very surprised but remind them that I am married, I have 6 grown children and 3 grand babies. I love my life as it is and do not share the same interest.

9.  Think of the last person you know who died.  You have the chance to give them 1 hour more of life back, but you have to give up one year of yours.  Do you do it?  Why? Or Why not?

I work in a nursing home and have seen many deaths, most of them have been ready to go. Both my mother in law and my dad were also ready to go I do think I would give my dad one more hour so I could talk to him just one more time. Giving up one year, since I do not know how many I have would not bother me.

10.  Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have as a friend?

I would hope so, always willing to listen, help out if I can and fun to be with

11.  Does love = sex?

nope, never has never will

12.  Your boss tells your co-worker that they have to let them go because of work shortage, and they are the newest employee.  You have been there much longer.  Your co-worker has a family to support and no other means of income.  Do you go to your boss and offer to leave the company?  Why or Why not.

I have did other similar things such as change shifts with someone that they said would never be on the early shift but they desired to be. However, I do not believe I would give up my job I may split my hours or something like that. I am glad that we are always under shortage and therefore no layoffs in the future.

13.  When was the last time you told someone HONESTLY how you felt regardless of how difficult it was for you to say?  What did you have to tell the person?

I have no idea, I live my life like an open book. There is no reason not to. I am one to always say good job or I love you. Why not it needs said and both me and whoever feels good about it

14.  What would be (or what was) harder for you to tell a member of the opposite/same sex – you love them or that you do not love them back.

this is not for me,,,, old married woman,,,, tell hubby daily I love him

  1. You've done a masterful job of answering these very tough questions.
These sorts of questions are something I wouldn't want to do again soon. But I suppose anything that makes a person think is of some value.
