National Cat Day

I am a genuine cat lover have been for some time. I grew up with a mother who loved cats and every cat she had a name for. Some liked to think of her as the "crazy cat" lady that owned all the cats but this was true but we never complained. We simply took care of the cat(s) Today we have a cat that knows he rules the roost. I know he is male but he was also given the nickname of  "Queen" We love "Queen" and he knows it

Do you have a kitty or cat that you love?? Well then be sure to give them an extra cuddle today as it is National Cat Day. Spoiling cats is great fun for both the owner of the cat and the cat as well. So you don't have a cat but you would like to have one? Then check out the local animal shelters. Love cats but can not for whatever reason have one of your own then consider donating to the ASPCA.

Cat Day was founded in 2005 by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige. She started this day to draw awareness to adopting shelter cats. Each year around 4 million cats can be found in shelters about 1/2 of these sadly will be euthanized.

Cat Day is a great day to celebrate your love of your cat but also to help draw awareness to the fact that we should not shop but adopt. In addition, remind cat owners to spay and neuter pets
