Festive Chicken
16 oz can peas
10 1/2 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 t salt
1/4 t pepper
2 c diced cooked chicken
2 1/2 c cooked rice
Drain liquid from peas. Stir 1/2 c liquid into the mushroom soup paced in a 2 quart saucepan Stir in the salt, pepper and chicken Top with peas and rice Cover and simmer about 14 minutes or til the rice and peas are hot and most of the liquid is absorbed Be sure liquid covers rice at it warms Serve.
