Smart Mom Jewelry review and giveaway

SMART MOM JEWELRY

I remember sitting in church with my grandmother and my brother being kept quiet with her wonderful colored beads. My baby brother loved these beads and my grandmother did as well. She took great care so that they would not break but so that she could keep my brother quiet. Smart Mom Jewelry is created with the same idea that the child will be able to be kept content but that no precious jewelry will be destroyed. Thus the invention of the wonderful teething bling of Smart Mom.

The material used in the teething bling created by Smart Mom is the highest quality, phthalate free, federally approved silicone. The teething bling is non toxic, latex free, food safe and can be washed in the dishwasher when it needs cleaned up. This great jewelry is not intended for the child to wear but knowing how attractive jewelry that mommy is wearing looks the pieces of jewelry are created with breakaway clasp as added safety feature

I believe that the jewelry that Smart Mom creates looks good and is great for the baby to share with us. As we all know the little one normally always wants to share what mommy has. Yes that does include jewelry. By accessorizing with the Smart Mom jewelry both mom and child are content. The one thing that Smart Mom does point out is that a child with a full set of teeth may be able to bite through the teething bling and that the Smart Mom jewelry should only be shared if the parent is in full view of the situation at all times.

We received the speckled blue donut shaped pendant. This pendant was not of hard plastic but of pliable, chewable silicone that would be perfect for little ones teeth to be cut on. This pendant helped keep princess content and also looked great with mommy wearing it. How precious it is to share a piece of jewelry with your lovely little one.

In addition to the donut shaped pendants Smart Mom sells coordinating bangles, heart shaped pendants, and heart shaped key chains all created using the same great silicone. Smart Mom also sells Teething Bling gift sets which pairs the wonderful Donut shaped pendant with the matching bracelet.

I want to share with you about a wonderful website creativetoyshop.com where you can obtain some wonderful articles by calafant. Do you remember coloring when you was a child? I do and I loved it we could spend hours just coloring. Let me ask you another question. Do you remember playing with boxes when you were young as well? We could spend all day long possibly all week long if the box was big enough. We could find all sorts of games to play with our wonderful box. What if I told you that Calafant when and put together the wonderous coloring created on cardboard. Wonderful!!!!!!!!! Right?

Not only can you pretend that you live in a castle but you can decorate it as well. Use any color you should choose after all it is your castle isn't it? Oh the wondrous time a young girl could have playing princess designing her own castle or possibly it is a young man coloring a castle as he protects it from dangerous dragons. But the best time of all could be from the parent as they watch their child partake in great exercise of imagination and art.

For inside play they could color and imagine being a fireman or the captain on a ship. How wonderful for those rainy or cold winter days. Calafant creates a great time out of any day.

Buy: find great stores to buy calafant from by visiting this link
or take 10% off by mentioning that you saw it on Annies Home blog and order online directly from the calafant website www.creativetoyshop.com

This is a song about the young kids that are born on the wrong side of the tracks so to speak. They can be adopted by our King Jesus Christ and live in Gods heaven forever. Oh the riches that lay before them in life may be nothing but that after death in heaven in numerous. My children want to help others out there primarily because they did not have all the benifits of all those that had it all but seen the hard side of life and now want to pay back through their experiences and help others that don't have it all but in heaven and through Jesus Christ can. Our Lord gave us a great mission to spread his word to those who have not heard it. There are many around the world that have not heard about the great love our savior offers.

Cloud B Review

Nothing is sounder than a sleeping baby is not always correct. In fact the opposite is often true. My daughter had a difficult time getting her baby to sleep in her own crib by herself. Eventually after allot of trial and error my granddaughter learned to sleep in her crib. With the help of a mobile on her bed that slightly lit up and played music quietly she would sleep in her crib for longer periods of time. Now that she is out growing the mobile a new toy was needed and
Cloud B came to the rescue.

Cloud B has one simple goal in mind and that is making everyone of any age to sleep better. Cloud B believes that if a child is going to develop properly with healthy development then a sound night's sleep will have to be demanded. Cloud B has gained the trust of parents and pediatricians alike to give a better nights, safer sleep for children. I agree that if a child does not sleep they can not function well. My children and those that I have helped teach in school often give their selves away with their attitudes and body disposition when they do not receive enough sleep at night. Cloud B not only has a passion to ensure enough sleep for children but has a great desire to create products that will offer the child a quality product using great design, style and quality material. Cloud B wants all children from every economical region to receive a great product so they often donate products and make financial contributions to charities nationwide.

So know that you know about the great company that I have found and fallen in love with let me tell you why I think Cloud B is so great.

We received Cloud B's Cuddle Cub or Mr. Cuddle Bear as we refer to him. Mr Cuddle Bear is one of Katelynn's best friends. He protects her at night when she is alone in bed and both mom, dad and Katelynn love him. Cloud B created their cuddle cub using eco-friendly soy fibers which will not harm my grandchild. The cuddle cub shivers softly created just enough movement to allow Katelynn to know that she is not alone. With Mr. Cuddle Bear Katelynn and her parents can relax and get ready for bed as the quiet cub creates a great peaceful atmosphere for her. Cloud B's Cuddle Cub comes with her own story book so that the child can read all about her as well as an adoption certificate so that the child can adopt the cuddle cub making them a member of the family.

Cloud B Cuddle Cub is just one of the members in the family of endangered species. I am sure that you can find one that your child will love and you will love how they comfort your child allowing them to feel great support.

Buy: you can buy the Cloud B cuddle cub or any of the other Cloud B great products by visiting a store that you can locate using this link http://www.cloudb.com/findstore/

Friday Fragments July 24, 2009

Friday Fragments and Friday's Freewrite
Fragments in my life were slim this week. I did however take my son to the doctor to get his football physical. I was surprised that the doctor did such a great job. We have recently started visiting another doctor after I feel our regular doctor has seemed to drop the ball. The new doctor takes time to talk to the patient, listens to concerns and explains everything that will be happening. I loved it because with my son being a high school student he needs to hear these things but as I walked out of the room so that they (the doctor and nurse) examine my child I thought it was hilarious as my son walked out to get in the car and explained to me that he was able to "moon the nurse" LOL What a great way to explain the needed part of any mans physical.
I love to talk on the phone with my little Princess now as I am not at all sure of what she is saying only that it is more than one syllable and sounds as if she knows what she is saying. As we talk on the phone I can understand part of the words such as "nana" "papa" and "I ove u" So precious to a grandma who loves her so.
That was a few fragments out of my life this week. Has your week been fragmented? If it has then share them or read others at the blog Half Past Kissin' Time or at Ordinary and Awesome

Focus Friday

Focus Friday a place to share with others where our focus needs to be.

This weekend I will have to decide exactly what I will be doing as an activity in bible school classroom. Next week we will have bible school and I will once again be very busy. I have been nominated to lead a craft room. My youngest son will help me for this he has never really helped before so this will be good experience for him. I look forward to it but I know that by the end of the week I will be jived from meeting so many boys and girls but also tired because bible school is alot of work. I will still have all my cleaning chores to do at home as well.

That is where my focus will be where is yours? Join in the fun or read more at the blog Thrifty and Chic Mom

Master Lock new Combination Lock

Back to school time is coming soon and that means using lockers and locks once again. Because there are three minutes in between classes it is popular for students to fix their locks to shimmy open. The only problem is that when they do this they leave any thing in their lockers up for grabs. That is why I love the Master Lock new Combination Lock which would be perfect for school.

Our school requires the students combinations to be kept in the office thus the students can not use key locks. I understand this rule at the same time wish my students belongings would be a bit safer and now because of the Master Lock it can be. The reason that this is possible is because Master Lock has reinvented the padlock. This time with a block guard anti shim technology. No longer will it be possible to shimmy the lock open by simply poking an object into the latch area. Yeah!!!!! I believe as a mother this is wonderful. The great Master Lock 1505 and 1525 combination locks contain the new shimmy free device. To make it even more attractive the old black and white lock has been replaced by many different colors. Now the student can pick their favorite lock.

Want even more great news? Check out the speed dial combination lock 1500id

Locks Featured in New "Secret Vault" Facebook Application With "Master Lock $5,000 Secure Your Future Sweepstakes

Both the 1590D and the 1500id are based on what students have requested from Master Lock for years. Both locks are available at this time just in time for back to school an offer the student added strength and security. With the added customizable functionality and new technology allows students to use their unique learning style to choose the perfect lock for their self.

The 1500iD Speed Dial Set Your Own Combination Lock is the only one presently on the market. It uses directional movement to open up using the up, down, left and right directions rather than the traditional rotary numbers. It opens faster than the traditional locks, offers more security and can be customizable. Users create their own combination, has a resettable adaption where the student can create their own easy to remember combination of numbers or movements. For those who would rather use numbers, letters, colors, shapes and symbols this great lock comes with adhesives that can be applied over the proper arrows. This is the perfect lock for the students in the scenario of time running out because it is quick and personable.

The 1590D Set you Own Combination Lock is designed for the traditional, nostalgic user who is more comfortable with using a more traditional lock. This great lock has a reset function. Wonderful for the teens who quickly forget their combinations. This is probably the reason why the office holds the combinations at school. Owners of this great lock will create their own combination using three letters or numbers and after that operate the lock in the standard way.

Both locks are wonderful for students or anyone needing a great combination lock and are available from Master Lock. So find your student the perfect lock to travel back to school with.

Thankful Thursday 7/23/2009

Thankful Thursday a meme where we share what God has done for us and we are so thankful for.
Victory In Jesus, that's right the song is in my head as well now. The host of this meme is the author of the spiritually Unequal Marriage blog. As she spoke of the songs that she sang as a child I too remember so many of them. In fact the other day in the middle of the kitchen I started singing the great old song he walks with me, and talks with me..... My kids may of thought I was strange had they not heard me blurt out songs like that a 1/2 million different times. I am so happy that my children also love the old hymns.
You know I am very thankful that we do have the opportunity to walk with our Lord through different lives and then to be able to talk with him through our prayers and praise. Oh this week has bee quite a roller coaster and right now I am on the top of the roll. I love second chances and the ability to forgive. I have had a tit for tat with my sister in law but now it seems to be over. I am happy as they have 3 of the loveliest children I have ever seen. I love those 3 with my whole heart. I am thankful that we can talk as friends once again choosing to forget our differences.
I am thankful for my oldest daughter and the love that she shows her own daughter. when Princess could not sleep she grew concerned and made a Dr's appt. The problem that Princess was having is that she is cutting more teeth. She will have a total of 4 when these come in however there may be more to come as they are appearing speedily. I am thankful that my daughter is a loving mother and that my granddaughter knows that she is loved by many surrounding her.
I am thankful that a little girl that I know Hal is not as hurt as she could have been. I do not know this little girl only her aunt through a social network. This little girl took a pretty good fall and came out if it no head trauma, stitches and glue which is not good but it could of been so much worse. I am thankful that Hal is doing better now.
What are you thankful for? Read what others are thankful for or share your own at Spiritually Unequal Marriage.

No Throw Review $5 can save you frustration

Let me introduce you to two little girls that love to throw things:

Believe me you these two little girls can rock and roll and throw with the best. If you don't believe me just ask their mommas. There is one invention that I have found that can help control the throwing of items and that is called the No Throw

The No Throw is created for babies 3 months plus and has been created to strap around and fit tightly onto baby bottles and sippy cups. Just strap the No Throw strap around the bottle or cup and slip it over the seat belt of the car seat, stroller, high chair or where ever else you may need this wonderful product.

The No Throw was designed by twin sisters who grew tired of the pick up game after an embarrassing flight where the item had been tossed about quite a bit. Because of the airplane ride the sisters went to work on a wonderful product so this would not only happen to them again but to any other parent, grandparent, or care giver. If your toddler enjoys the pickup game take a second and think about a wonderful time where you would not have to numerously pickup the item for a repeated number of times. There is a No Throw that will fit your toddlers personality since there are many available patterns and colors.

Buy: Nothing could be more worth the money. For just $5 you can get your little one a wonderful No Throw that both you and your child will find useful. Thursday Thunks July 23, 2009

It's the July 23rd version and I can't think of a catchy title1.

1.You walk into a store and the cashier is being held up by a robber. The robber's accomplice is dead on the floor at your feet with a shotgun laying next to him. The robber does not see you, but the cashier does - what do you do?

I am not sure if I would run for help or try to help for the cashier but probably I would holler for my husband to "come and do something about this" like I always do

2. We go to an ice cream shop for an ice cream cone. You say you are buying and I am going to stay in the car. You ask me what I want and I say "surprise me", what kind of ice cream cone am I going to get?

Well that all depends did I secretly want you to buy and only offer or go in the store with me? If so then I will find the wierdest ice cream I can. However, if I am in a great mood and I know your favorite you will get that or mine which is normally strawberry cheesecake

3. You have a dream that your co-worker, friend or whoever is hit by a garbage truck after they back into a ladder with a black cat on it. The next day you see that person standing by a ladder with a black cat on it and there is a garbage truck driving down the road.... what do you do?
I holler out a great warning and hope that it is not too late
4. What is the most money you've won on a lottery or scratch off ticket?

I never win anything you would have to talk to my husband or daughter about winning they normally win at least $2 but have won quite a bit more

5. A neighbor kid down the street comes to your door and offers to wash all of your windows outside for $10 - do you have him do it?

Sure

6. Go to Google Images. Type in the name of the last movie you saw. Post the first picture that comes up.
watched RoadHouse before going to bed

7. Your local animal shelter calls you and says there are 3 dogs that need an immediate foster home for 3 days. If you do not accept, the dogs are put down that day. Do you take them in?

Yes I do hate to see that happen to any animal

8. What is the messiest room in your home?

the kids bedrooms I refuse to clean them

9. Have you ever been to a wedding that participated in a strange tradition that you had never heard of?

Nope my daughters did have a memory wall but that is not strange

13. Go back to that Google Images link... type in the last food item that you ate. Post the 2nd picture it comes up with.

no cheese was on mine though

14. Got any bumper stickers on your vehicle? What are they?
Yes Your child is an honor student sticker

15. What meme question do you wish was never asked again?
I am not for sure on this one but cant wait to see what others say

Notebook Experience July 23, 2009

This week we have been to the doctor a few times. One was for my granddaughter and the second for my son to get his physical. Remember children should get physicals or a general check up at least once a year. Taking my son to the physician was not as dificult as taking my granddaughter. Her schedule seems set in stone so there are a few tips that we follow and also found on the blog PsychMama located in a post called 12 tips for better doctor visits with kids.

What we found useful:

  • morning visits pay off you know the doctor has not become too far behind and have hopes of a short visit. Now while this is not always true if you have the first appointment of the day if your doctor is like ours and makes hospital rounds first. It is always better to schedule like around 9:30 in our instance. We know that he will be there, possibly on time and we will be seen before lunch.

  • Dont dress child frilly, lots of snaps, or etc.... the easiest manner is something that will slip off

  • A second adult is often nice to have along. I have traveled to doctor appointments with sister in law, daughter and niece. It allows them to listen to the doctor while I manage child

  • Favorite toy or blanket as post explained often allows child comfort and keeps them busy while waiting

  • liked an idea shared in post that I had never thought about crayons to color on exam table paper Since they don't reuse it why not color on it

  • second think I learned was that Sweat Ease which is just sugar water helps to allow child to calm easier (never knew about this one)

  • Yet the last great tip I learned is that they have general anesthetic that they can rub on skin prior to taking blood or giving IV

These tips may make your doctors visit easier with your child. I know for one thing I am going to find out about the cream that can numb the skin prior to getting another IV. I know that I hate them and children have to as well. Would love to know if you have any tips of your own please leave in comments.

Jade and Pearl Review

JADE AND PEARL

Let me share with you about a wonderful company called Jade and Pearl. Jade and Pearl truly believe in organics and life surrounding it. I love the fact that they offer so many wonderful products on one website. I also love the fact that they grow many of the ingredients that go into the products they sell. The gifts that they sell are truly unique and can be used over and over again. Created 30+ years ago the goal was to educate and offer natural products to help curb the popular demand of the hygiene products of the time.

Prior to our trip to Florida we received the wonderful Beat It product that helps to protect the wearer from bug bites from Jade and Pearl. The Beat It product worked like a charm and I recommend it to anyone. I loved that fact that it was made of natural ingredients and was safer than many items that are sold elsewhere. I did not hesitate to use this on my kids or to share with others because I knew that the product was safe and contained no harmful ingredients.

Jade and Pearl sells many other great products including:

Buy: You can buy Jade and Pearl products directly off their website. You can also visit this link http://www.jadeandpearl.com/catalog/storemap.php to find a store or location near you.
