This biscuit and gravy recipe will help warm us all up on a cold January day.
1 lb. Turkey Sausage
1/2 Tsp. Italian Seasoning
1 Tbsp. Diced Jalapeno peppers canned or fresh
1 Tsp. Black Pepper
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1/8 C. Frank's Buffalo Sauce
1 Tsp. Dried Sage
3 C. 2% Milk
1/3 C. Flour
12 Baked Biscuits
Add Turkey Sausage to a large skillet on Medium/High Heat.
Add Jalapenos, Salt, Pepper to taste and Italian Seasoning; cook sausage until browned.
Remove sausage from heat and place in a separate dish that is lined with paper towels.
Leave remnants in the skillet!
Whisk together milk and flour; add to skillet.
On Medium Heat; continuously stir milk mixture until it begins to thicken.
Add Salt, Pepper, Sage and Buffalo Sauce.
Stir in Turkey Sausage; continue stirring until heated.
Add prepared gravy on top of cooked biscuits.
