Dinner has a wonderful way of bringing the whole family together. We try to sit down and spend time together as a family at least three times a week. With our children all getting older and having schedules of their own this becomes more difficult. But sitting down to a beautiful meal and having meaningful conversation as a family can make all the difference in ones life. That is why I call a reserve on Sunday dinner and also call them all together a couple of other times during the week. Life is meant to be interrupted and there are no other interruptions as delicious as dinner with the family. Barilla can help families get together around the table and has created a wonderful program known as "Share The Table"
Barilla has created a webpage to offer recipes, ideas, sweepstakes and fun to help the family "Share The Table." This webpage is located at http://www.barillaus.com/ I was allowed the opportunity to review the Barilla "Share The Table" webpage by Mom Central. I was sent a wonderful gift package via Barilla from Mom Central who first made me aware of the Barilla website and to them I tip my hat. By reviewing the site I was able to find all the greatness that was offered. One of my favorite cooks of all times Mario Batali shares wonderful family friendly meals on the website. Mario has been one of my favorites before the food network was ever as popular as it is now. The love he puts into his food and recipes is contagious so perhaps you and your family will be sharing a bit more love as you cook, eat and "Share The Table."
One of the recipes Mario shares is for Stuffed Manicotti with Beef. It looks s0 delicious and beautiful the way that he shares it. Perfect for family get together and he says a bit special. So for a recent dinner I tried to recreate the same recipe at my house to serve my family as we "Share The Table." Here is a picture of what mine looked like. To get the recipe you can visit the Barilla website and take the stand that you believe in meaningful meals. You can sign up for Barilla newsletter, get the delicious recipes that Mario shared and best of all Barilla will make a donation to the Meals on Wheels Program. My family and I agree that the pasta was delicious and the conversation that was created because we all took a pause in our busy schedules, sat down and enjoyed a meal together was wonderful. Perhaps you and your family could use a interuption in the busy scheme of life. Let Barilla and Mario help you fix the perfect dish for your family.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Barilla and received products necessary to facilitate my candid review
