Slanket

As far back as I can remember my mother always used a blanket to cover up with when she relaxed on the couch. I followed up her behavior by loving to wrap up in a blanket while relaxing as well. The problem was that I could never cover up my arms because as a mother of six even when relaxing I always had may hands busy. Now the Slanket has came into being I can cover my arms up in the sleeves made into the blanket and still be able to move my arms freely. I love it and it works great.
The great features of the Slanket are unending but many of them include the ability to wrap up snugly in a coziness that makes you feel loved. The large sleeves that allows you to freely move your arms. The sleeves are not constricting at all but soft and allows lots of room but does not falls off easily either. The slanket is easy to clean if anything spills on it simply toss it into the washer and dryer and have it cleaned and dry and ready to go again. The blanket is heavy enough to keep you warm but soft enough to make you feel comfortable.
The Slanket was dreamed up by a college student needing to stay warm while being able to move their arms. The person to have the opportunity to make a slanket was of course a mother who loved their child enough to give them what they needed. Each time you wrap up in the slanket you can feel the warmth of a mothers love.
The Slanket is made of 100% Polyester Microfibers. It is 60” wide by 95” long and is available in 11 colors. Imagine a 5 foot wide 8 foot long blanket surrounding you. No matter how tall you are there is enough material to surround you with warmth and softness.
Buy: You can buy the best blanket in the world. The Slanket sells for $44.95. A Slanket for Kids, measuring 44 x 66, is also available in 4 colors. It sells for $29.95. The Slanket and Slanket for Kids are available to purchase online at www.theslanket.com

Do you love to decorate with style but at times do not have the time? There is a great product out there that can help you with your decorating needs. They are quick, easy and look great as well. The PopUps are considered decorative wall art but they are all so much more. The PopUps allows the room to speak volumes and to express what the owner wants to but can not put into words.

PopUps are products created by members of the Creative Individual Company. The great individuals that complete this company have years of talent under their belt. The products they turn our are versatile and look great. There are many different styles that would impress anyone.

The great PopUps products are easy self stick product. They come off easy, go up easy and look great. The company also create murals which go up similar to wall paper. Both the PopUps and the murals would look great in homes, Church's, daycare centers, hospitals or where ever great art is needed.

The great PopUps and murals are not produced on paper. Rather they are produced on a textured "Dreamscape" commercial grade vinyl wall covering. The vinyl covering is very durable and can be cleaned by scrubbing allowing the decorative wall covering to last many years. Joey Junior Purse Hanger

If you have visited my blog before or if you are a reader who comes by quite often you may of noticed that the makers of this great purse hanger also make the purse organizer that I raved about in an earlier post here. The Joey Junior team creates wonderful products that helps to make a ladies life easier. The Joey Junior Purse hanger is very versatile and can be used in many different areas of life.

Anything that can help make my life easier is definetly a friend of mine the Joey Junior Purse Hanger is a product that does just that. While small enough to be carried in your purse without bothering much else it does a very large job. Have you ever been in a public bathroom where you do not want to lay your purse on the floor either for reasons of safety or hygiene. The purse hanger slips out of your purse and hooks to the top of that door and hangs your purse in front of you safe and secure No need to worry.

The Joey Junior purse hanger is great looking as well which is great because you want anything to use to look as great as you do. The Joey Junior Purse hanger could even be used in your office if you have a place to hang the hook then you have a place to put your purse up and out of the way safe and secure with style. The face of the purse hooks resembles a sparkling crystal pretty and versatile as well. While the hook may look rather small it really packs a punch. The hook can hold up to seventeen pounds which is strong enough to hold your purse no matter what they say. Yes I have been told that I "carry everything including the kitchen sink" in my purse but the truth is the purse hook still holds it with ease.
Using The Purse Hook Is EASY

The Joey Junior Purse Hanger can be kept inside of your purse and takes up little room The hanger stays closed safe and secure until use is needed

When you are ready to use the Joey Junior Purse Hanger simply uncoil to wear the hanger is down . This step is done quickly and easily no special tricks needed here

And place the round, padded piece on the edge of the surface and hang your bag underneath. Now was that not simple? The Joey Junior Purse Hanger works great and will protect your purse right in front of you while your mind can be on more pressing subjects.

Thankful Thursday

This week I have been trying to join in many of the great memes that I love. Thankful Thursday has for a long time been on of those great memes. It is located at the blog Grace Alone and you can join in the thankfulness as well.

This weekend I will be traveling away with my four youngest. We are going to a church event called Dare to Share. This will be our third year in going and let me tell you it is very important that we go. The kids although they are all teens are looking forward to this great outing event. Each year the dare to share group puts on a skit which gets the young people to thinking. I can not wait to see it this year. I feel so thankful that we get to go together and get away together as a family. Since the oldest girl traveling with us this year is 18 I know that this may be our last trip together. I feel thankful that at her age she still wants to travel with her youth group and with her good old mom to a church event. Thank God that we have been helped through out our lives that we have helped place the love of God in our childrens hearts. I am also thankful for all of those who have helped me in the past to be the Christian mother I am. Grandparents, parents, youth leaders, sunday school teachers, preachers oh the list goes on Thank You to all of these great individuals for helpingto strengthen my love in our lord Jesus Christ.

The Tiny Print company knows that the graduation year, students name, and information regarding the graduation is very important to the graduate and must be included on the invitation.

If your child was involved in sports you definitely will want to include that somewhere on the tiny print invitation. Tiny Prints takes the personality of the graduate to heart and knows that for many that includes involvement in sports.

Perhaps your senior is looking for that classical more sophisticated look. This studied style by Tiny Prints would fit that bill perfectly with the color and style of graduation year and name with a proud picture of the graduate.

Tiny Prints have many graduation invitation styles available. I am sure there is one that would fit your proud graduates style. Please visit the Tiny Prints website and check out the great variety of graduation cards available.

Tiny Prints was created when a set of three friends grew concerned that the art of letter writing was being taken over by more digital means. Desiring the need for written information for birth announcements, graduations and other great events Tiny Prints was developed. Tiny prints want to restore the love and excitement of the good old days of letter writing. One of the best ways they could do this was to create a website where buying stationary and paper goods was easy and fun. Tiny Prints allows you to create personalized cards, invitations, and birth announcements that are great looking and allows you to express your point of view. Spa TIme Baby Cozy Care Cape Giveaway

WINNER HAS BEEN SELECTED AND EMAILED

The first six months of my young granddaughters life have been awesome. She is wonderful and one of her favorite things to do is to take baths. She seems to love the water and hates it when

she has to get out of the bathtub. The Spa Time Cozy Care Cape has been a huge help to her momma. Now she can use both arms to care for this precious bundle of joy and not having a towel close by is no longer a problem. What a wonderful treat bath time has become for both the little princess and the head queen.

I reviewed the Spa Time Cozy Cape at an earlier time and you can read that full review here. But for now let me remind you why I love the Spa Time Cozy Cape:

  • No longer need an extra towel with the cozy cape close at hand you can simply wrap the wee one up in it.

  • The waterproof backing of the cozy cape makes it great because the bather no longer gets wet while bathing the little one

  • Bath time just becomes a more relaxed time when the cozy cape is use because splashes do not have the same soaking effect.

  • Perhaps the best reason is that with the Spa Time Cozy Cape you can wrap your arms securely around the little one while lifting them out of the tub.

Spa Time wants one of Annie's Home readers to win a Cozy Cape of their own. Yeah!!!!!!! Now you can find out how wondrous it is to safely and securely bathe your child and have fun at the same time using the Spa Time Cozy Cape.

works for me wednesday

This week I have just a few helpful hints that I just found out about;

  • Hamburger that is still frozen may be browned if you place a bit of water in the skillet with the meat

  • Eggs last around 5 to 6 weeks but if you have some that are reaching that destination or if you are like I was a short while back and the eggs are ready to expire you can hard boil these eggs and store in the fridge. Hard boiling allows the eggs to stay around a few more days

  • Placing a few drops of oil in the boiling water when boiling eggs you will have a softer skin and it will peel much easier

Ruby Red Tuesday

This is the first time I am participating in the Ruby Red meme but since it is spring and I am longing for the good old days I thought I would share a few pictures you could of easily of found where I grew up. Growing up in rural farmland Illinois was alot of fun where farming was not an occupation but a lifestyle. Old red barns, (many brick and round) and the old red tractors dotted the backroads of where I lived

Gratituesday is a weekly meme where you can list things that you are thankful for. I am so thankful many simple things like the ability to walk, breathe, look, smell I am also thankful for the people who come into my life. I am thankful for my son in love who married my daughter and takes great care of her and my granddaughter. I am thankful for my sister in law who raises my nephews even though they are not her own and my niece which belongs to both my brother and her. Without her what would life be like for these little ones? I am also thankful for the many church friends that I have and many of them know it. I am so thankful to belong to a church where whatever happens they will wrap their arms around you in a loving manner. Within the last few months I have found some other good no make that great friends. The blogging world is full of many great friends that I may possibly never meet in real life but the friendships are as special as the real life friendships I have. How lucky I feel that I have a world surrounded by friends and those who love us from many different areas in my world.
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls for he has no one to help him up.Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 New King James Version
