World Penguin Day

Today on World Penguin Day I would love to share with you some ideas about penguins.

Today why not have a bit of fun wearing black and white traditional penguin colors. Pretend with you children as if you are one of the penguins migrating north. Be sure to do some walking and waddling as these birds do not fly.

Penguins live in Antarctica, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru and the Falkland and Galapagos Islands. Penguins migrate due to temperature changes, changes in food availability as well as the need to mate with others. National penguin day The traditional migration day is also the day that is celebrated on April 25th as World Penguin Day

  1. We love penguins! We sponsored one for my son's birthday when he was younger. He was thrilled! Cute post.

  2. When I was still teaching, I taught a thematic unit on Penguins to my First Graders. They loved it! Thank you for sharing at Party In Your PJ's.
