This is very true. Early intervention is key to helping people get the support and resources they need to really flourish. Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteIt is so great that there is awareness around autism nowadays. It is so easy to misunderstand people's behavior when they are afflicted by a condition like this one, and in the past, when people were not as aware, it made it harder for those who are on the spectrum. My friend's son is autistic, but he was diagnosed early, which helped the family learn how to have an easier time and to help him develop.
ReplyDeleteMy husband has social autism, and man oh man it's a beast at times to tackle, but over all, he's the most wonderful person and I adore him. Honestly, his autism is kind of "fun" because it always keeps things interesting and we like to bust through challenges together.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this. It's always good to get more educated on these types of things.
ReplyDeleteAs a mom, it is very important to be educated about Autism and ASD. I pray for parents who struggle with their kids who has this kind of condition. Early intervention can really be a big help.
