International Coffee Day

The first day of October is saluted with a celebration for coffee. It is a global celebration that celebrates the path of coffee growers, sellers and drinkers from the farm to local shops. It is a chance to honour the individuals that grow and harvest the coffee that so many can not live without.

The International Coffee Organization hosted the first International Coffee Day in 2015. The first year there was more than 70 events from 35 countries across the world. That number has continued to grow in the past couple of years. Last year there was participants around the world including Egypt, South Africa, Canada, Brazil, Norway, Greece, Azerbaijan and Indonesia. In 2018 there will be even more private companies, countries, independent businesses, public associations, and coffee lovers around the world.
