Food Safety Tip

With the weather getting hot and picnics, grill outs and all the other great events food safety may slip our mind. Many of the great salads, and dishes that we eat these picnics often contain eggs. In weather above 85 degrees we need to be sure that food containing eggs stay out no longer than 30 minutes at a time. If the party is at home then be sure that foods with eggs in them are not taken out til serving time and placed back in fridge with in 30 minutes. If picnicking and serving egg dishes then be sure to have a cooler of ice to be sure that the dishes stay chilled and after serving either re ice leftovers or throw out. This is a quick egg tip for you to help you stay healthy and enjoy your summer.
