Butterscotch Brownies



Butterscotch Brownies
from Floras Recipes

 
1/4  cup  shortening
1  cup  packed light brown sugar
1  teaspoon  vanilla
1    egg
3/4  cup  all-purpose flour
1/2  teaspoon  salt
1  teaspoon  baking powder
1/2  cup  chopped nuts
1/2  cup  chocolate chips
1/2  cup  butterscotch chips

Directions:
Melt shortening in a saucepan over low heat; remove from heat. Mix in brown sugar, vanilla, and egg; stir well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in greased and floured 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake butterscotch brownies at 350F for 20 to 25 minutes. Cut butterscotch brownies while warm
