Smoked Sausage Soup


2 c chop onions
2 T butter
2 c cubed cooked chicken
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
3 c sliced celery
3 cups sliced summer squash
2 c chicken broth
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce 
¼ c minced fresh parsley
2 T cornstarch
2 T poultry seasoning
1 t dried oregano
1 t ground cumin
1 t liquid smoke, optional
½ t pepper

In skillet saute onions in butter til tender Transfer to a 3 qt slow cooker Stir in rest cook on high til veg are tender
