In a way Monday will be a sad event as it is the first day back to school. Just where did the summer go? Summer fun is coming to an end and the days of back to school have arrived. I have been given a grand opportunity via BlogSpark, Safeway and General Mills to offer a giveaway to my readers that will help welcome back the days of school.
The Safeway family of stores which include Dominick's, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi's wants to help you make back to school easier for you to give back to your school. They are offering a deal they can "2 Ways 2 Earn" where your school can earn points for Box Tops for Education as well as earn "10% Goes Back To Schools" program. The Box Tops for Education program has already given away over $320 million to help more than 69 thousand schools that participate in the program. This year saving box tops for your school will be even easier because there are 4 new brands that have joined the program. The four new brands include Progresso Soup, Totino's Pizza, Betty Crocker Cake Mixes and Gold Medal Flour. I know for a fact that you will find each of the 4 new on the list products in my kitchen from time to time. To me that is why Box Tops for Education is such a great program because the products that carry the points are ones that families like ours use regularly.
Safeway also wants to make it easy for schools to get funds that they so badly need. Simply located the yellow school with the "10% Goes Back To Schools" tag on over 2,000 Safeway products. The tags will be visible for the length of this program that runs from Auguslt 11th to September 14th. Simply using your club card 10% of the purchased price will be donated to the local school of your choice.
The Safeway 10% Back To School program works like this:
- From August 11 – September 14 you should purchase products from the grand list of products with the yellow school bus. Each time you visit the store check your receipt the total will be updated each time you shop.
- September 18, you will find a redemption code printed at the bottom of your receipt.
- Using the redemption code on the receipt visit backtoschools.escrip.com before October 13 to choose your favorite participating local school, then simply enter your redemption code to make your donation. Its that simple and easy. You will be proud, your child will be proud and your school will thank you.
You can get more information about the Box Tops for Education and Safeway’s “10% Goes Back to Schools” program, visit http://www.2ways2earn.com/ While at the site be sure to enter the Safeway Bonus Box Tops Sweepstakes where you will have the chance to win 1,000 Bonus Box Tops for the participating school of your choice!
We recieved a $25 Safeway gift card (also valid at Dominick’s, Tom Thumb, Randalls, Vons, and Genuardi’s) as well as a Bonus Box Tops certificate with a value of 50 Bonus Box Tops. In addition Safeway and General Mills via BlogSpark would love to offer one of Annies Home readers a $25 gift card and a 50 bonus box tops certificate.
To enter giveaway: visit the 2ways2earn website and let me know which product on the list your family uses or you often find on your shopping list.

My daughter's school does collect box tops, but I can't tell you what exactly they are used for. It is one of many fundraisers they do.
ReplyDeleteruthaw_1974@yahoo.com
Nature Valley, gogurt--those are a few of the things we often find ourselves buying.
ReplyDeleteruthaw_1974@yahoo.com
Again, they participate, but I'm not sure what the points are used for.
