Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse

The Walt Disney Company mascot celebrated a birthday earlier this month. Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney in 1928. Mickey's favorite outfit of course is red shorts, large yellow shoes and white gloves. In his iconic clothing Mickey is one of the world's most recognizable characters.

Mickey made his debut in a short film titled Steamboat Willie in 1928. Since that first film Mickey has starred in over 130 films. Feature films like Fantasia in 1940 as well as Brave Little Tailor in 1938 also starred Mickey Mouse. In addition Mickey Mouse has been the star feature in comic strip.

Mickey Mouse stays quite busy between the many films and comic strips he also appears in The Mickey Mouse Club and other great T.V. shows. Micky Mouse has a video game that uses his name and figure to play a game. If you love Mickey Mouse then you must know about his homes in both Florida and California.

Mickey Mouse also has a good friend, in fact girlfriend Minnie Mouse was there a lot. The rest of his clan includes his dog Pluto, best friend Donald Duck and Goofy.
