Were you bitten by a dog when you were little or has it just always been a fear? My oldest daughter was afraid of my grandparent's Chihuahua, but within a year, she was walking up to dogs such as Rottweilers and not the least bit scared of them. I guess I've heard too many horror stories not to be afraid of a Rotti.
ReplyDeleteI'm not always comfortable around dogs either. Some of them can be rather scary. If they aren't growling at me or chasing me, then no problem.
