In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
Today I want to know if you will plant a garden this spring?
I plan on planting a garden as well as some flowers and I can use all the help that I can get my hands on. I am planning on taking the time to enjoy gardening while raising food for my family.
To participate in Aloha Friday head over to an island life

  1. I plan to plant a garden in my front yard. Right now there is nothing there! It is a blank slate and needs tending to. I still haven't figured out what type of plants to put in!

  2. We live in the desert but this year we are planning on starting some grass probably after the monsoon rains. That's as much of a garden as we'll get! Oh & it won't be a large patch @ all.

  3. I'm going to skip the veggies (I discovered they grow better in the fall) and experiment with flowers!

  4. No, I don't have the slightest semblance of a green thumb. It's best for the plant world if I stay out of it.

  6. I wish I had the room for a vegetable garden, but I don't. I do buy local produce when it is season from farmer's markets, and roadside stands.
