shipwreck dinner

This dinner is a favorite of my daughter and grand-children. I made many casseroles while raising my family as they stretched the budget, filled the belly and put smiles on everyones face

Shipwreck Dinner:

1 lb ground beef
1 pkg Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 can (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 cup frozen green peas
1 cup milk
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Brown meat and drain. Stir in Macaroni, Cheese Sauce Mix, tomatoes, peas and milk. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover. Simmer 12 min. or until macaroni is tender. Sprinkle with cheese. Let stand 5 min. or until cheese is melted

  24. I have never heard of Shipwreck Dinner before, but it reminds me of a dish my grandmother has made all my life with tomatoes, ground beef, and noodles. It's cheap, it's delicious, and it fills you up fast.
