Pecan Pie one of our favorite desserts

The ingredient theme this week is nuts and seeds




My mama loves pecan pie, my hubby loves pecan pie and while not my favorite pie of all it ranks up on the list of favorites very high. Here is a recipe that we have used before and love.


Pecan Pie

1 c brown sugar

1 c white syrup

1 c pecans

3 eggs beaten

1/4 c butter

pinch of salt


Stir together and pour in the shell. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes Check to see if filling is set nutsh should have rised to top.
