Ecclesiastes 3:11 is perfect for the occasion of graduation. We did not know when we held our tiny babies what they would do in life. We had our dreams and aspirations but there was one that did know and that one is our Lord in heaven above. Now as we have watched them grow and they soon graduate I wonder what the next step will be. They both proudly state "I am not afraid as I walk with my Lord" and my son says "I wait for him to call me and tell me where and what I need to do." Just like when they were little I have aspirations and dreams but no real knowledge of what will come but there is one that does.
This is sooooo beautiful...my desire is to have my 6 kids wait on the Lord like your...there is hope! I think that is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWe have a decision to make soon, and I have thought, "If only I could see what the Lord has in mind . . . " It's reassuring knowing that He knows, but frustrating when I'm trying to discern His voice about which direction to take. It's the waiting . . . I'm working on it!
ReplyDeleteAnnie, you have taught your children well.
ReplyDeleteBlessings and love,
Debbie
It is so wonderful to hear of young people who have hearts like that. May the Lord bless their futures.

I am so glad that we can leave it to be the One who sees and oversees and leaves us free from fret and care as we rest in His love.
