contest is over and winner has been selected
A short time back I shared with you about the Andean Jewelry Collection. You can read that review here. The Andean Collection is the socially conscious fashion. By buying Andean Jewelry you are allowed the chance to help others in need.
To further the great cause of the Andean Jewelry and the wonderful individuals involved Amanda Judge wants to offer any of Annies Home Readers a discount of 20% with orders of $50 or more. When checking use the discount code Friends. This discount will no longer exist after July 22, 2009.
I have also been given permission to host a contest where one of Annies Home readers will receive a $20 gift certificate.
To win: you must visit the Andean Collection website and share with me something you learned.

What a cool site. I love that the artisans are from Ecuador. I have a good friend from there so that is really special to me.
ReplyDeleteArtisans handcraft our designs from natural seeds that have been sustainably harvested from the rainforests and lowlands of South America.

ReplyDeleteI leanred the idea behind their line is to bring you great fashion forward designs, while creating a greener planet, and providing a path out of poverty for artisans using fair trade principles.

They make Acai bracelets, which go perfect with their Acai necklaces. Also, they're paid fair wages, which is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI read about the Pambil tree and learned that the entire thing is used for various purposes from its wood for construction to its leaves for roofs to its seeds for jewelry -- and the heart of the palm is eaten.
ReplyDeleteI entered the Skoy Cloth contest.
ReplyDeleteI learned that they have internships in NY and Ecuador.
