Harvey Milk was clearly an early leader of the LGBT movement. Milk would be assassinated on November 28, 1978. Harvey Milk envisioned a place where all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender I.D. were treated equally. Milk is a hero to the LGBT community as his life lives on through the dreams he once held.
