With summer coming on and kids growing it may see like we need to go out and buy clothes for our children. The way I shop is hitting garage sales, looking for great deals on eBay and thrift shops. It is always nice to receive handy downs but when this is not possible then the other 3 ways seem to work best for me. Make a list of needs, keep that list wherever you go you never know when you will find one of those great items.

What a geat idea. Fotunately for my son, he is grandson #4 on my side and grandson #3 on my husband's side so plenty of hand-me-downs there, but dear daughter is the only "princess" on my side and there is 10-year gap between granddaughters on dear husband's side. Thrift store, ebay, etc. would be a great place to find some real deals!

Good post. My daughters ages 18 and 16 frequently shop together at thrift stores with their own $$.
ReplyDeleteI think it's awesome!
