In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
My children, kid brother and now my nephew have all played little league ball. My question today is:
Did you or do your kids participate in sports and if so what ones?

I did elementary school cheerleading. Hubby is an avid softball player. My two oldest boys don't do "sports" but are active in marching band. Youngest boy loves to play ball with Dad; but we have a rule of no organized sports until school age (want to avoid burn out). And my baby girl - we'll have to see how that goes. lol

When I was a kid I played soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
ReplyDeleteWe are doing baseball this year for my son. My older daughter does dance, and off course both swim.
ReplyDeleteHoping my kids will play soccer when they get a little older.
ReplyDeleteMy sons were very active in sports. Tyler played football, baseball and wrestled. Dayton was in Track, Cross Country and he played with the Marching Band. Our daughter was more into academics. She's still in college...sigh.
ReplyDeleteI love softball!!
Oh, goodness. I tried my hand at softball, basketball, and stuck with cheerleading for a bit. My son is only 2 but I just know he's going to want to play baseball or soccer. He loves throwing and kicking. :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids did a lot of sports- not to the crazy extreme level though
ReplyDeleteYes we are always in sports! Its basketball, football and baseball for my son then cheerleading and basketball for the daughter now my 4 year old is getting into sports BUSY BUSY
ReplyDeleteNot really, just basketball. They don't play team sports, though.
ReplyDeleteI am what they call "athletically challenged" in that I don't have the coordination or strength it takes to be a good athlete. I was able to bear 3 children but not play sports...hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteMy oldest however has played soccer and I put all of my kids in swimming lessons during the summer.
I am signing my daughter up for a princess ballerina class. I was in swimming and band in high school.
ReplyDeleteMy so is too little right now, but when he's older, I would like to get him into soccer!
ReplyDeleteMy sons all played baseball and one of them was into track.
