You should check out all the great items that are available from this wonderful etsy shop. I love etsy shops becasue of the wonderful variety you can find there. This bag would be a perfect gift bag for the winter holidays and is big enough to hide a odd shaped package to keep you from wrapping it. The purpose this bag will serve for me will be a traveling bag when I go to the youth getaways this winter.

A Little Playing In the Snow with Best Friends
This is a picture of my daughter (in the red coat) and her friends. They decided yesterday when we ended up with about 5 inches of snow on the ground that they would use it as a play day and boy did they have fun.
The first thing my daughter did was to fall down in the snow or maybe just wanted to take a seat LOL because take a look at the next photo where her friend decided to take a sit down just did not sit down or slip down in the snow
she gets a helping hand up from the ground. That was nice of her friend but knowing her it was probably because she probably could not stop laughing enough to get up off the ground.
arent they funny!!! They have a great idea but there is no fire in the pit you girls are so silly!!!

Menu Plan Monday & recipe for Microwave Christmas Candy Recipe
■24 red and green hard candies
Cover cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper. In 8-cup microwavable bowl or 2-quart microwavable casserole dish place candy coating. Microwave uncovered on High 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until almost melted. Stir until smooth. Place candies into melted coating. Stir coating to mix evenly. On cookie sheet, spread coating evenly. Let stand about 1 hour or until cool and hardened. Break into pieces.
The first of December was rather good and we are still doing well on groceries. There are a few things that I need to pick up at the grocery store like milk, bread, sugar, But all in all we are still doing great
Monday hamburgers , potatoes, veggie, almond bark:
Tuesday chicken patties, fixings, slaw, veggie, brownie
Wednesday scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, pb cookies
Thursday chilli, crackers, veggies, pb sandwiches, no bake cookies
Friday spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, cookies
The weekend is still to be planned as I know most of Sunday will be spent at church and Saturday is still to be a wait and see

Organize An Old Fashioned Recipe Box
My mother had one, my grandmothers each had one and i think even my sister has one. The recipe box is a wonderful place to keep recipes neatly written and often shared by others. Organizing a recipe box is the secret to making it work. I have folders upon folders of recipes that I have gathered over the years and keep mine nice and organized. Whether you choose to organize your recipes in folders or a recipe box here is a sample guide to help you get your recipes organized.
Write on each guide card the divisions into which you prefer to classify your recipes. Following is a practical arrangement, arranged alphabetically:
1. Beverages
2. Breads, yeast
3. Breads, quick raising
4. Cocktails, fruit, shellfish, etc.
5. Beans, peas, lentils
6. Cakes and icings
7. Candies
8. Cheese, rarebits
9. Desserts: (a) Without eggs, (b) With eggs, (c) Cake, (d) Fruit, (e) Pudding, (f) Frozen
10. Eggs, omelets
11. Fish, salt
12. Fish, fresh, shellfish s
13. Fruit, fresh, stewed
14. Fritters, waffles, pancakes
15. Game, poultry
16. Jelly, preserves, canning
17. Lunchbox
18. Macaroni, rice, curries
19. Meats (a) Beef (b) Brains, sweetbreads (c) Mutton, lamb (d) Pork, (e) Veal
20. Menus

New Song at Christmas starts the season for me
This past Friday night we attended the Christmas concert as a family. The New Song concert is what starts Christmas for me. All of the energy they place in the concert just somehow seems to jump off of them and onto the audience. I thought I would share just two of their songs. The first always makes me cry you may as well so grab the tissues. The second is one that keeps me energized and shares the reason of Christmas Hope. My hope is that you enjoy the songs that I share today.

Peanut Butter Blossom Recipe and Chance to Win Jif Prize Pack
One of my favorite cookies is the Cyclops or Peanut Butter Blossoms If you want to try this favorite cookie of mine here is the recipe
INGREDIENTS:1/2 cup Crisco® Butter Shortening
1/2 cup Jif® Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups Pillsbury BEST® All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Sugar
48 foil-wrapped milk chocolate pieces, unwrapped
HEAT oven to 375°F.
2.CREAM together shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and 1/2 cup sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well.
3.STIR together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat on low speed until stiff dough forms.
4.SHAPE into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
5.BAKE 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
6.TOP each cookie immediately with an unwrapped chocolate piece, pressing down firmly so that cookie cracks around edge. Remove from cookie sheets to cool.
