Eden Home review and giveaway

Eden Home is a company striving to protect the Earth in all they do. Life is precious and thus should be treated like so. Eden Home shares this belief and is taking steps towards that goal. One way is by using organic cotton. Organic cotton is good for the earth, good for the air and good for all of us. Eden Home wants to help you use more organic products by offering organic and natural yet stylish products for your home, bath, bed and baby. Eden Home offers customers healthy choices ranging from organic clothes for baby to natural bath towels, from organic cookware to all natural shampoos.

Eden Home wants to offer luxury and beauty as well as natural and organic products. Products can be both because Eden Home products are produced naturally as well. Eden Home was created by two moms who wanted products that were classy, stylish, luxurious in feel and delightful to smell or caress. Eden Home carries products that are appealing to busy moms who want to make the best choices for their family including organics but do not want to sacrifice comforts or looks.

When I was introduced to Eden Home products and asked to review I thought wow. I love organic products and I love my family so nothing could be better. I was asked to review an item from the children's clothing site and I chose the Kiwi Industries Organic Hat - Pom Pom Hat The colors were perfect for my princess and with the cold winter outside I knew she needed something to keep her head warm. With these two factors in mind along with the ear aches that she has experienced I thought the cute hat was the perfect item.

The Kiwi Industries' hat is from the sweater collection and combines organic cotton yarns. The old fashioned look of the hat is intentional and brings back memories of days gone by.

What does Eden Home have that would be perfect for your family? You can purchase any of the great items off their website located here

Win: Eden Home wants to give a $35 gift certificate to one of Annie's Home readers. To enter this giveaway head over to the Eden Home website and let me know what item interest the most.

Casting Crowns Praise You in the Storm

Love this song and just know that he is always there as life throws us curve balls, tosses us around and simply challenges us I know where my help comes from and I will praise him in the storm.

Its Official I am a The View ambassador

Its hard to believe it but I am a brand ambassador for The View. YEAH!!! I love the ladies on the view. I have seen them change with the only 2 that have been there since the beginning is Barbara and Joy. When I first started watching the view I worked day shift as a nurse and I did not get to watch it as often as I liked. I did catch it whenever I could. Since that time I gained the chance to stay at home and The View has changed greatly as well. Still the same spirited sort of ladies able to share their views openly. I love to agree, shed tears, shout at and simply hear what the ladies have to share.

Thanks to the wonderful group MomCentral I have been given the chance to be a brand ambassador of The View. I feel lucky to be able to share the ongoings of the show The View. Each week I will share with you what is going on with the view as well as you all know my thoughts and opinions.

Sneak Peak!!!!! On Monday’s show, Senator Evan Bayth of Indiana will talk exclusively to the hosts of “The View” in his first and only network television appearance since announcing he won’t run for re-election in 2010. This will happen Live Monday, February 22 on ABC

I am not sure if you all have heard the story behind the Senators resignation so it would be a great idea to tune into see how the conversation goes. As far as I am concerned I know I will be listening as this senator who is a democrat shares his reasoning behind his resigning.

I am a participant in a Mom Central campaign for ABC Daytime and will receive a tote bag or other The View branded items to facilitate my review

Amy Peters Studio review

I love jewelry always have and always will. I can remember getting in my mothers jewelry box at different times in my life. As a little girl I was only allowed to look and dream about wearing such wonderful jewelry one day. As a teenage girl I was allowed to wear this treasured jewelry but only upon asking and returning the items I borrowed. Today I look at my mothers jewelry and remember how great she looked in it, how great I felt wearing it and how much my daughters love jewelry as well.

Amy Peters Studio is where you can find some beautiful jewelry as well. The inspirational jewelry you will find at Amy Peters Studio will take your breath away and bring back warmth and lovely memories in your life. Amy Peters the designer of this wonderful jewelry I speak of started out at a young age to create lovely jewelry. In an after school program at age 8 Amy began to make jewelry this early introduction into jewelry maker created a spark inside of Amy that would lead her down a long line of jewelry making. In college Amy worked in a bead shop knotting pearls. Earning a BA in metal arts and jewelry design in college Amy went to work and treated her jewelry making as a hobby rather than a career. Through the various jobs that Amy would work she would gain wisdom and experience. Today Amy works with her beloved craft of jewelry making creating inspirational jewelry. She strives to make her jewelry affordable and accessible to everyone.

I find myself in a cross in life between mother, daughter, grandma, and self. My children have primarily grown I know that many of you have heard me speak of my children going to college, having children and moving on. This leaves me as their mother both proud and a bit lonely. When I was looking through the wonderful jewelry available at Amy Peters Studio I found this wonderful ID bracelet. It just IDs exactly where in life I find myself.

The bracelet states:From An Acorn Grows A Strong and Mighty Oak my children are growing and as I watch them go from that tiny little baby that I held in my arms to the positions in life that they strive for I believe the inscription means so much in life for me. What will you find that fits you or someone you know at the Amy Peters Studio? Bracelets, rings, earrings and necklaces are among the jewelry types that are available.

If you are looking for a great pick me up for yourself or for a gift for someone you love Please head over to the Amy Peters Studio Website and see for yourself the beautiful jewelry that is available.

Three or More: My Three Sons

I recently had a question in a comment regarding my sons so I thought I would introduce them to you. In line youngest to oldest. These are my three sons.

Gratituesday : the kids are back in school

I am thankful today that the kids headed back to school. After being home a whole week they finally headed back to school. Do you know what having 4 teenagers home for a week when you did not buy supplies to feed those children due to the cabinets, pantry, fridge and freezer? Well not as bad as what I thought it would be actually. Somehow we kept going and every day there was snacks, meals and extras. I thank all of those who have taught me to keep a well stocked pantry and to cook those frugal meals. Many of those that I learned so much from have blogs. Yes bloggers have lives and know how to live life.

This past Sunday was Youth Sunday. i thank God for all the wonderful youth who took over in the places of the adults who normally fill the positions. It may be these very youth that one day will actually lead the music, the preaching etc... Thank God that their hearts are prepared to accept whatever may come their way.

what are you thankful for?

Random Thought Tuesday: Life During the Olympics

randomtuesday

Listening to the news this morning I found out quite a few different things. We are currently leading the medal count in the olympics. The Chinese came out strong on figure skating win both the silver and the gold. It was like a dream come true for the gold medal winners as they have been around for 18+ years but had never won the gold medal. Upon the husband (yes ladies I said the husband) deciding he was not ready to give up on the gold they came out of retirement to get ready and compete for the olympics where at the 2010 Olympics they reached their dreams. Yeah for them. I am proud of them not because of their nationality but because of their determination.

I also love the fact that Apollo Ohno is doing so well. I think this feisty young man is doing well. I can not believe that i like him and that my daughter like him for two different reasons. I like the fact that he has done so much and he has such a great relationship with his father while my daughter sees him through a different set of eyes and that he is great looking (hot as she says it).Oh my the differences we share.
The olympics is not the only competition going on this week. It seems the dogs are having a competition of their own. I have a son who loves to watch the Westminster dog show.

well those are my random thoughts what are yours? Share yours on the Un Mom blog

In "other" Words Tuesdays : Feb 16

This week the host for In "other" Words is Heart Choices. The selected passage is the following:

As I often tell my children in my Sunday School class. The freedom to worship him is not always free. Those in foreign countries often must worship in groups not to let those in charge know they are Christians. Many others do not even know that there is a freedom as great as our Lord Jesus Christ. Our job as Christians is to share the message that we have heard with others.

As a mom of teens I have tried to raise my children to do as they should. I have learned that after our our prayers, our personal actions demonstrating what should be done and faith that they will follow through in their personal lives. They have the freedom to keep the Lord the spotlight of their personal life or to forsake their upbringing and go on with life. They face daily influences from teens, to attractions that they know are not meant for Christians. However, they will find true freedom if they only grasp onto their knowledge of him, the manners of which they have grown and keep their eye on the goal. Perhaps this is the true meaning of the scripture to me. However, this does not only affect teens as in life we all find the obstacles to go on a different path of life rather than the one that we are on that is led by the faith in our Lord. In my own life I have found many obstacles and fallen off the road only to find my way back to the freedom that is granted when we place our lives in our Lords hands.

What do you think?
