Smoky bacon Wraps

National Men Make Dinner Day occurs first Thursday of Every November. If you are lucky enough to have a man who cooks on a regular basis, knows their way around the kitchen and enjoys cooking up culinary treats then National Men Makes Dinner Day is not for you. You may however know someone who could really use a great way to make their wife and family happy then by all means share this day and information with them.

A guy completely lost in the kitchen and does not know a casserole from a skillet then they may need a bit of help. Just imagine all the wonderful memories that can be created while cooking in the kitchen. To take place in the activities of this wonderful day then please visit the rules page located here

Here is one easy recipe that may be just what is needed on this special day:

Smoky Bacon Wraps

• 1 pound sliced bacon
• 1 (16 ounce) package miniature smoked sausage links
• 1 cup packed brown sugar

1. Cut each bacon strip in half widthwise. Wrap one piece of bacon around each sausage.
2. Place in a foil-lined 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until bacon is crisp and sausage is heated through.

  1. Hi Angie,

My hubs doesn't cook all the time but when he does, he can sure get down. :)

Thanks for sharing this recipe with us. I know the fam will like this one - maybe the hubs can make this on Sunday for the football games.

    Have a great week!
