Bummas review and giveaway

Bummas are wonderful multi-use, eco- friendly cloth baby wipes that are easy for mom and caregivers to use, soft for the baby that they are used on and great for the earth because they are eco-friendly. Bummas wipes can help eliminate the dreaded diaper rash that babies occasionally have. They are small soft, luxurious baby sized cloths made for drying baby bottoms and blocking those suprise squirts. Since bringing home my grandson I think everyone in my daughters house has been surise attacked at least once. LOL Bummas help to protect against that squirt during diaper changes and are partially the reason that Bummas were created. Bummas are small enough to easily carry on the go and slip nicely in the pocket of the diaper bag for on the go and they are strong enough to use over and over again and prevent pillage, shrinkage and fading as well

Bummas are 100% cotton and are created of a woven velour terry cloth milled in the USA Bummas come in a great variety of colors and are perfect for baby showers as well as new moms.
Bummas sent us a package of the wild bunch wipes and they are working perfectly for our newest addition to the family. Bummas were proudly used with our first grand-daughter as well. She is now 30 months old and they are still being used as her nightly bath time washcloths because they are the perfect size for her hand.

Kids 'N' Pets Review and Giveaway

If you are like me then you often find your selves elbow up in messes that need to be cleaned up. With a small dog, six children, 2 grandchildren and a husband the small messes in life can sometimes become overwhelming. I have found a new friend on the market that has become a dear friend of mine. My new friend is a cleaner by the name o Kids n Pets. Kids n Pets is a cleaner that you can safely use on any water safe surface. The stain and odor remover works on carpet, furniture, clothing, upholstery, mattresses and much more.

KIDS 'N' PETS INSTANT CARPET Stain & Odor Remover is different from other aerosol carpet stain removers because other leading aerosol carpet stain removers are solvents and contain no enzymes therefore are not effective at removing urine odors. KIDS 'N' PETS INSTANT CARPET Stain & Odor Remover is the only leading aerosol stain & odor remover that contains enzymes that are critical for eliminating both stains AND odors – especially urine odors. Thus KIDS 'N' PETS INSTANT CARPET Stain & Odor Remover is the only truly effective stain AND odor remover. In short, the other aerosol products are really only designed for removing carpet stains but are not effective at eliminating tough odors. KIDS 'N' PETS INSTANT CARPET eliminates both.

We recieved a bottle of the Kids 'N' Pets instant all purpose stain and odor remover and plan to use it when we start to potty train our grand-daughter. This will help to relieve the odor of any accidents that may happen. Kids 'N' Pets would like to give the same product to one of Annies Home readers. To enter this giveaway you must be a follower of my blog and visit the Kids 'N' Pets website and let me know what product interest you the most.

Giveaway starts now and ends March 19, 2011 Email must be in comment or on blog profile or entries will not count. Good Luck

we want to thank Kids 'N' Pets for the product that they have both sent me and offered to my reader. The thoughts and comments shared in this post are those of mine alone

I chose this this song to share today because of a few different reasons none more than the message I think that the song provides. The beautiful spring weather is speedily approaching and as the spring flowers, buds on trees, birds begin to sing I begin to think of a new beginning. We are so blessed that God gives us that new beginning through salvation.  and his love

Veggie Recipe with a bit of style

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1/2 small eggplant, chopped

Salt and pepper

1/2 orange bell pepper, chopped

1 pint grape tomatoes

3 cloves garlic

2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves

1/2 zucchini, quartered lengthwise and cut crosswise 1/2 inch thick

1 pound refrigerated pizza dough cut into quarters

1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Place an inverted baking sheet on a rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat to 500°. Place a second inverted baking sheet on a work surface and cover with parchment.
In a nonstick skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. Add the eggplant, season with salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 10 minutes; transfer to a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil and the bell pepper to the skillet and cook until crisp-tender; add to the eggplant. Meanwhile, using a food processor, puree three-quarters of the tomatoes, the garlic and thyme; season with salt and pepper. Transfer to the nonstick skillet and simmer over medium heat until reduced to about 1/2 cup, about 5 minutes. Halve the remaining tomatoes and place in a bowl. Add the zucchini and remaining 2 teaspoons olive oil; season with salt and pepper and toss to coat. Stretch the pizza dough into 4 rectangles sized to fit the parchment, leaving a little space between each rectangle. Top with the cheese, tomato sauce and vegetables. Transfer the pizzas on the parchment to the preheated baking sheet in the oven. Bake until golden and crisp, 15 to 20 minutes.

PaperPlate Mardi Gras Mask

•Paper plates

•Construction paper

•Markers

•Glue

•Glitter

•Craft feathers

•Hole punch

•String

Cut a paper plate in half (you can make two masks per plate this way). Cut eye holes in the half plate.
Shape the mask by cutting around the edges--scallops, points, curves or whatever suits you. Be sure to cut a curved groove between and beneath the two eye holes for the nose. Place a line of white glue around the eye holes and along the edges of the mask. If you want, you can also create swirls or other patterns with glue on the mask. Sprinkle glitter on top of the glue while it is still wet. Allow the glue to dry. Decorate the mask as you see fit once the glue is dry. Use markers to color the white paper plate; glue feathers, beads or cut-out construction paper shapes to the mask; or add anything else that might make the mask colorful and festive. Punch one small hole on each side of the mask and tie a string into the holes.

Thin Mint Cupcakes

Find these perfect for St. Patrick Day cupcakes here

st. Patricks Day craft

Here is a cute St Patricks Day Craft what a super cute decor for party favors, place settings or a simple decoration. Check them out here

•Styrofoam cups

•acrylic paint in green and black

•gold chenille stems

•scissors

•hot glue gun

•shamrock buttons

•magnets (optional)

Instructions:

1.Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

Note: The temperature and instructions in this craft are based off of a dark coated cookie sheet at 250 degrees F in an electric oven. You may want to experiment with different temps until you receive satisfactory results. I recommend baking one or two cups at the recommended temperature and time first. If they seem to melt too quickly or the ends curl up and under, try reducing the temperature and trying again.

2.Place Styrofoam cups upside down (open end of cup down) on a dark coated cookie sheet, placing them about 1-2" apart. Note: we experimented with both dark coated and silver cookie sheets, the cups did not melt properly on the silver sheets.

3.Bake in the oven for approximately 3 minutes, don't walk away! It will take about one minute before you see any changes to the cups, then the heat will begin to melt and shrink them rather rapidly after that. It's lots of fun for the kids to watch, so be sure to turn the oven light on.

4.Remove the cookie sheet from the oven and set aside to cool completely. DO NOT try to remove the cups from the cookie sheet until they are completely cooled. As they cool, the Styrofoam that is stuck to the sheet will relax and release its grip from the sheet, allowing you to remove them easily. Most cups will melt rather well, thought you may end up with one or two that look rather distorted or disfigured.

5.Paint the "hats" with green paint, one coat is usually enough, and allow them to dry completely. Once they are dry paint a black rim around the hat and allow to dry again.

6.Mean while, take a gold chenille stem and bend it into a square or rectangle for the hat's buckle, trim end off with scissors. When paint is dry, hot glue the buckle to the front of the hat on the black rim. Hot glue a shamrock shaped button to the top portion of the front of the hat.

7.Note: Instead of the buttons, you can either paint a shamrock on by dipping the eraser of a new pencil into dark green paint and dotting it onto the hat three times, or cut your own out of felt or craft foam.

8.If you like, you can hot glue a small round magnet to the bottom of the hat at the brim and hang on the refrigerator.

Raisels review

The simple snacks of yesterday are still present but are quickly being overran by snacks of this generation. The quality of some of the snappier snacks are more appealing but may not be as good for those that eat them. That is one reason that I love Raisels. Raisels is the answer to those looking for an updated snack that also is healthy. The National Raisin Company is behind the new snack known as Raisels. They are a 100% real fruit snack and actually taste like candy. How you wonder? Good question you see the fruit snack is 100% vitamin C real dried fruit golden raisins with less sugar than sweetened dried cranberries and yet they taste great. This flavorful snack is perfect for baking in cookies, candies and to simply enjoy as a snack. Raisils are:

100% US RDA for Vitamin C

Rich in Antioxidants

Fat Free

Cholesterol Free

No High Fructose Corn Syrup or Artificial Sweeteners

No Sodium

Kosher Certified by the Orthodox Union

We were able to review the new Raisils when TeamMom allowed us the chance and we would love to thank them for that opportunity. Never before did I know that the sour taste of the candy that is desired by kids and teens now can be tasted in the new Raisils. The snack went over in delicious factor and all enjoyed them. Some of my teens thought that the taste of the new raisels was better than in the every day "old fashioned" raisins. In our opinion the snack passed with a B grade simply because some of them felt that a few of the flavors were too sour. I believe it was that they were not expecting the flavors to be so much different than what you would find in regular raisins.

As I stated we did receive several flavors of the Raisels for reviews. I have tried to put my honest thought within this post and want to thank TeamMom for the opportunity to review.

Mega Bloks have been around for many years they were available in a great variety when my children were younger but they have even more choices for my grandchildren. Recently we were sent one of their great products to review. The new product from Mega Bloks the Domino Build is recommended for children ages 3 to 6 years of age. Lessons to be learned through MEGA Bloks Domino Build game include colors, numbers, matching and motor skills. The game is not gender specific and is perfect for both boys and girls Our little Princess is 30 months old and loves the new game that we received and I feel that it allows her to use skills that are needed at this age and beyond.

This terrific preschool game allows them to associate hand and eye co-ordination as well as can build social skills when played as a game. There are eleven (11) zoo animals that are featured on the domino's. They are all cute animals that are familiar to young children this is another area that the domino like blocks become a great educational resource. The set includes 16 maxi blocks, 30 domino tiles, and 1 instruction sheet

The fun that can be had with the Mega Bloks Domino Game can be had in more than one manner. When not being played as a game the animal blocks can be played with alone by playing blocks. Fun can be had either by one self or with a friend. In our opinion the Mega Bloks Domino Game stands up to the standards that I had of the same brand of bloks when my children were younger.

Thank You To TeamMom at ChildsPlay Pr for the sample that we were able to review. The thoughts and opinions shared in this post are those of mine alone and may or may not agree with yours
