What I learned this week July 14

I found out this week how out of shape I really am. I have been walking once again to not only help with my diabetes but to also get back into shape and feel better. I love those individuals who are up in age and still compete in the senior Olympics. Oh my I hope that I am in near the condition of many of those that I salute. My desire is to be able to walk in a 5K walk. I would love to be able to meet my goal. The last week I have been walking more and more and now I am walking between 2 to 8 miles a day. Slow paced but I have learned that I can do it. SO if the speed can be picked up I would love to walk in the upcoming walks for charities. If you have any tips I would love to hear them so that I can learn more.

  2. I don't have any specific tips but I do hope you'll stick with it. Of all the different physical activities I've tried, I always go back to walking as being one of the best and easiest on the joints...As long as you are walking someplace with interesting things to see along the way, the time flies...
