Popular Microwave Treat Recalled by FDA

The FDA has issued a recall of Pepperoni Hot Pockets. The recall occurs after Nestle was sent four complaints from individuals who had found "extraneous material" inside. The recall has been labeled as a "class I" or a health hazzard situation that has the reasonable probability of causing serious, adverse health cosequences or death.

The Hot Pockets covered by the recall are only the "premium pepperoni pizza" variety, which come in a 12-pack in a 54 oz. carton. The boxes in question have a Feb. 2022 expiration date and lot codes 0318544624, 0319544614, 0320544614, and 0321544614 printed on the carton. They also include establishment number "EST. 7721A" inside the USDA mark of inspection toward the bottom of the front of the box

The FDA has advised if you have this product to throw it away.
