I will never forget,My Dad was telling me of the radio broadcast about the attack on Pearl Harbor,and when he told my Grandmother that H wanted to join ans serve she told him he had to finish high school first,and than he would have her blessings.
yes... I believe I never realized how serous it was til I attended the University and the teacher made it nearly visible thank your dad and many others for service
