As we all should well know dairy products are rich in nutrients such as calcium and potassium. These nutrients have the ability when taken correctly to help manage weight, reduce risk of high blood pressure, osteoporosis and some cancers. Protein found in dairy foods helps to build and repair muscles to help keep our bodies active. Vitamins A and D help to maintain healthy skin. Perhaps you are starting to see the reason that Dairy should be celebrated but not only in June but should be consumed all year long.
