Time To Clean The Yard

Time to do those fall chores. Not only will doing some chores now make the yard better but it will help cut down on work needing down next spring. Some chores that you may consider doing include:

• Rake leaves now rather than later. If snow falls on unraked leaves they get wet and matted down Raking now avoids dead patches in the spring. Leaves in the garden area however is a good thing. 
• Use a slow release fertilizer to soak up nutrients. 
• time to pull weeds 
• dehydration can occur during cold months so water trees and shrubs now
• Clean out the garde with leftover fruit and veggie debri. 
• Plant spring bulbs like daffodils and tulips
