Hodge Podge Wednesday

1. What's something in your house you'd like to get rid of but can't?

There are so many things, one main source is clothes, I have lost a lot of weight and now I can not wear many things that I used to. I need to donate these items. Donating good used clothing helps all I am proud to be doing so helping others and thankful for losing weight and those that are in need are thankful for the items.

2. When is the last time you experienced a sense of nostalgia? Elaborate.

This afternoon, I was in a thought about days gone by at summer camp. When I was young I went to many different camps and all a bit different. From the most rustic and staying in tents to the most comfortable air conditioned hotel rooms.

3. You're only allowed three apps on your smart phone or tablet...which three do you keep?

I no longer have  cell phone use one when I need it as all of my kids have them. I simplified my life and have a land line home phone but no phone that travels with me. Apps we use most often here are GPS, google and garage sale finder Never forget the kids app of roadblox

4. July 11th is National Blueberry Muffin Day. Who knew? Do you like blueberry muffins? If you were going to have a muffin would blueberry be your choice? What's the last thing you baked?

Blueberry muffins are quite yummy but not my favorite that would belong to cinnamon spice muffins

5. What's the biggest way you've changed since you were a child? In what way are you still the same?

Well, my health was a lot better when I was a child. I would say I did not have a job but that would not be completely true. The truth is that while I delivered newspapers, worked on the farm and helped my dad at odd jobs I did not have an every day job that I was responsible for

6. Insert your own random thought here.

The other day I heard a sermon on T.V. The preacher was talking about serving others and knowing who we should serve.

Moses ===== Israelites
Aaron ===== Moses
Benny Hinn ==== the sick
Billy Graham ===== those lost in sin

But who was it we were to serve?? He said we should know as they are the ones that touch our hearts like our family and friends. When they are sick, hurt or terrible things happen we feel for them and may even cry with them. Likewise, those that we are to serve will pull at our heart strings. It took me no time and I realized that the population I was to serve were the youngest and oldest among us. Children and the elderly touch my heart and leave me wanting to do more for them.

Who is it that you are to serve??
