Dame's Rocket



If you are looking for an easy plant to grow then today's plant will work for you. Dame's Rocket is popular in flower gardens but they can also be grown as wildflowers. Some even consider it an invasive weed. The USDA refers to Dame's Rocket as "weedy and invasive" 

The Dame's Rocket is native to Japan. A member of the mustard family the plant was first introduced in the U.S. in the 1600's The quick spread of it was due to the plant itself. 



Those that create flower arangements love Dame's Rocket as well. They are fragrant, colorful with colors ranging from white, pink or purple. They grow in large loose clusters from May to August. 

The plants can be found in nature around woodlands where they can live hapily in  light shade area.
