National Voter Registration Day

The decision to vote is one that we should all make. Don't make the decision to late though because there is a registration deadline in every state. Today as part of getting everyone registered to vote volunteers ranging from celebrities and organizations from every state will hit the streets getting the word out. The awareness drive is in hopes of getting tens of thousands of voters who would not be registered other wise.

Hopes of raising awareness to voting and registering these voters both online and off using old fashioned door to door as well as social media to get the word out. Those who are all ready registered to vote will be asked to make a pledge to vote and volunteers will find ways to give their time for this important decision. The national voter registration day is being brought together by many great organizations to bring awareness to the issues and voting. Organizations such as Asian pacific American labor alliance education fund, bipartisan policy center, bus federation civic fund, fair elections legal network, league of women voters, national association of secretaries of state, nonprofit VOTE, Rock the vote and Voto Latino.
