Chocolate Peanut Butter Pumpkin Smoothie

 

So many love peanut butter and I love recipes that have pb in it and the grandkids love a delicious peanut butter sandwich. With harvest season here I thought I might share a peanut butter recipe that would fit in perfectly

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pumpkin SmoothieMakes 1 serving*

• 1 cup coconut water
• 1 cup almond milk
• 3/4 cup pumpkin purée
• 2 tsp chia seeds
• 2 tbsp peanut butter
• 1 frozen banana
• 2 heaping tbsp cocoa powder
• 1 tsp honey
• 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 scoop protein powder
• 2 handfuls spinch
• 8 ice cubes

1. Add ingredients to blender, in the order listed above, leaving out the ice cubes.
2. Blend, first using the ice crush setting and then switching to liquify (unless you’re using a high powered blender).
3. Add ice cubes. Blend until smooth!
