Serving others

I recently read an article here that spoke of teaching our children to serve others I was just telling one of my good friends that I am very proud of my children because they have all grown up well and have obligations and responsibilities that they take pride in. My parents were great at taking time encouraging me and my siblings to help others out. In return this payed off as I was not afraid to get involved and also to help my children get involved. I was taught as a child to respect others and help whenever needed and because of that my children do that as well. What do you do to help others?
