Book Review and Giveaway Always True

I recently was able to read the book Always True by James MacDonald. The book offers quite a bit in my opinion to think about. This book helped me see that even in the bleakest of times God is still with us and Always True.

Brief Description of Book
James MacDonald shares in his book the biblical hope of God's promises in the midst of life's storms. 2 Peter 1:3 refers to certain portions of God's Word as exceedingly great and precious promises. Great promises are ones that don't fall apart during difficult times; they reveal hope in the midst of the storm. Precious promises are ones that we find strong enough to hold us up and resilient enough to get us through. God's promises become exceedingly great and precious to us when nothing else will do. By way of digging into the theology of God's Promises, Pastor James uncovers 5 major categories of promise in the Bible and the 5 areas about which God repeatedly makes promises. From what to do with fear and doubt to God's goodness, help, and victory-the Bible has much to say about God's presence in our difficulty.

Packed inside this book that is written in devotion type style where you can read a bit and contemplate what you learned and pick back up the next day are powerful scriptures. The goal of this book is to help you learn scripture that you can keep within your mind and soul. I have been told since I was a young child that scripture is the most powerful tool that we can have in life. It is the word of God and helps us to develop who we are and defend ourselves against Satan.
I have one copy of this book to give to one lucky reader. If you would like the chance to win this book please share with me a favorite bible verse of yours. Thats it only one entry giveaway ends march 21, 2011.

  10. And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat uponeach ofthem. And they wereall filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
