MicroFiction Monday

The time stood still as the children within the classroom walls waited to be released from school. It seemed as if 2:45 the time school let out would never come.

  5. Isn't it always the way, like a watched phone never rings or a kettle on a stove never boils.

    I feel like this when quitting time is getting close, or the last few miles is left on a long trip when I am heading home.

  6. In those final countdown moments, time may have "stood still" but it was hard for the soon-to-be-released children to "sit still"...
