Sea Pack Review and free cookbook offer

A healthy diet consist of eating the proper amount of vegetables, whole grains, proteins, dairy and including seafood twice a week. The news is that eating seafood twice a week can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. So are you getting at least two servings of seafood a day? It is easier than you think and Sea Pack can help you. The Mayo Clinic advises that we should be eating 3 ozs. of seafood per serving at least twice per week. You can get 3 ozs. in 6 to 8 shrimp, one salmon burger, or one crab cake.

Another healthy aspect of eating seafood is obtaining Omega-3s. Salmon, tuna, shrimp are all great examples of where you can find Omega-3's. So you may be wondering what Omega-3's are. If you are like me you may be thinking they sound like a term out of the Star Wars movie. Rest assured Omega-3's are an important feature in a healthy diet. They are the essential "good" fatty acids that can help keep your heart healthy found naturally in shrimp and seafood as well as in some plant oils. Our bodies can not make Omega-3 on its own so it is recommended tat we take in 500mg of Omega-3's per day.

Yet a third reason why we should eat more seafood is because test have shown that eating seafood helps reduce the risk of Alzheimer's and cognitive declines. Test results in 1996 by the Harvard School of Public Health and Rockefeller University Hospital showed that including shrimp in your diet helps to raise the level of HDL or "good" cholesterol and decrease levels of LDL or "bad" cholesterol. By lowering LDL in the bloodstream helps to reduce susceptibility to heart disease.
